Re: The Rendevous Point
Both the soldier and mercenary climb inside the transport shuttle. The sides are open, with two mounted guns, one on each side. The other soldiers do likewise, getting aboard, "Latch yourselves down," says the pilot, waiting for everyone to use the clasps on the seats to fasten themselves inside. When that is done, the transport lifts off the ground and zips through the air. Only five minutes pass, the jungle zooming beneath the shuttle about fifty meters away, until the long use New Republic base appears. Not so many years ago this base was the staging area against the Empire, now it has been scaled down considerably, and much of the base has been deactivated and powered down.
The shuttle hovers over the landing pad, the repulsorlifts slowly taking the ship down and lands softly upon the ground. There are several soldiers outside of the ship, aiding with its landing, and standing by in case anything is needed. "You may debark," the pilot says, he himself getting ready to get out of the transport.

Davar taps the pilot on the shoulder.
"Do you know if we're getting debriefed for this, or should we just head to barracks?"

The pilot shrugs, "I have no idea." He pulls off his gloves and unlocks his door, throwing it open. "I just give you guys rides. Try talking to the deck officer. Not sure if he would know either."

Davar heads over to the deck officer and salutes.
"Do you want me to report for debriefing, sir, or should I just head back to barracks and dry off?"

Re: The Rendevous Point
Corvan straps himself in, and leans out the partially open door of the transport. His rifle on his lap he lets the wind blow through his hair, and he smile looking down at the zooming jungle canopy below it. "The only way to travel...."
At the base he disembarks when the shuttle lands. He streches and looks around. "I think we need to talk to someone about this certainly. At the very least its payday." The Merc shoulders his rifle and relaxes some. Perhaps for the first time you realize that he certainly is a Merc for he is wearing his brightly painted blue enamled combat vest (and helm) and sticks out among the various soliders of the New Republic here far more than he did in the jungle foliage.

Re: The Rendevous Point
The deck officer turns, looking at Davar, and pulls up a datapad and starts pouring through the information. "Okay," he says, "You were the marine that brought down the droid?" he asks, giving Corvan a short look, "And the merc?" He jerks a thumb toward the complex, "Debrefing room 17b, they are already decoding the information you recovered."

Corvan yawns, streches, and head off -- to the cantina! The merc wants himself a drink before he has to deal with a debrefing. He taps Davar on the shoulder, "Come on, need a pit stop first to refuel, then I'll go to room 17b...you coming with me?"

"I can wait for a drink. I'm actually sort of curious about what they found out- more curious than I am thirsty. I'll see you in the debriefing room."
Davar heads to 17b at a brisk pace.

Re: The Rendevous Point
The pair split up briefly. Corvan takes a series of lifts to one of the lower levels of the complex. This complex is where many off duty marines, pilots, and civilians blow away their cares for the world. Corvan's weapons and gear are checked by security once entering the level. Nearby is the small cantina, currently nearly empty, only a few off duty marines and other random people occupying the place.
Davar heads straight to the debrefing room. He must take the lifts up to level seventeen. After a few seconds he finds the room and is escorted inside by two marines securing the information that will be discussed within. The room itself has an oval table filled with several view screens and datapads. There is also a larger screen on the far wall. Currently, it does not appear anyone has arrived yet, Davar being the first in the room.

Re: The Rendevous Point
** Cantina **
The Merc orders himself a few drinks, a Corellian Whiskey, and a Dantoonie Lager. He drinks both drinks at the same time, alternating one after the other. He listens to the background music playing thinking outloud, "Man this place needs some Twi'lik dancers or a Bith Band." He finishes up his drinks, pays his tab with a credit chip to the serving droid and feels a bit more relaxed. He knows the marines are going to want to talk to him, and he want's credit for his actions so with a nice start he heads off to the briefing room. No way I could handle with without a drink.
