Chapter 1 - Black Stones and Walkin' Dead

Lucas looks around at the area so newly cleared and nods to the two injuns. "Lead the way."

[Bitom]

The area remains silent and there is no sign of anything moving.

Hunts inspects the rifles dropped by the zombies and then his own before he looks at his brother and the whitemen. "Try not to shoot me." He slips into the mine entrance. He ducks his head low to avoid hitting the support beams and the dwarf cut tunnel. He kicks a few rocks around as he side steps the piles of salt doign hsi best to avoid them. He puts a finger to his lip and purses his mouth, "Shhhh." He points at the ground and tells the others to wait there. Then as silent as he can, he creeps down the tunnel to the corner and peeks around it.

[Bitom]

Hunts peeks around the corner, using the light that his brother provided. The mine slants sharply down, then turns and slants at the same angle. Going veery deep in short order. At the end of this short hall, it seems to level off and form a wider passage, turning left again.

Hunts looks back and offers a hand motion to move forward slowly. He then creaps to the next corner scouting a head and doing the same once more.

Lucas waits for the others to head into the mine and then follows along behind them.

[Trogdor]

Raven files in behind Hunts, his spear drawn and his rifle slung over his shoulder.

Hunts creeps down the hall, the glowing coin lighting his way. He pokes his head around the corner and sees nothing but more hallway, with a bunkroom at the end. As he is turning to motion his fellows forward, the shadows around him come alive and attack. He is forced to experience first-hand the chilling touch that his village did not survive as thge strength is drained from his body by the maligh influence of a creature that may have once been one of his own people.

William hears something up ahead and begins to try to work his way past Raven to get a better idea of what is up there.

"What is it, Hunts?"
