William sighs as Lucas' blade smashes the shadow of their former companion.

He turns towards Raven, extending a hand. "I am sorry for your loss..."

Even still, he appears somewhat ready to move onwards, since he again exchanges his weaponry, moving back to the pistols.

"We've barely set foot in here and already these things are proving deadly. How much longer until the two that fled come back at us?"

Raven is very quiet as he looks at the body of his brother. He nods at Lucas' sympathetic comment, but says nothing for a while.

"I can't say how long," he finally replies. "But we should use the time as best we can. Let us proceed. We can take Hunts with us on our return. He would not want us to risk success because of him."

Hunts by Scent's body is gone. Even the dignity of death is denied him by the creature that killed him. His equipment lies on the stone floor, seeming for all the world as if dropped there. Raven can now clearly see what happened to his village, and why no bodies were left behind.
