Re: Rough Landing
Karl nods, trying to juggle two backpacks. "Yeah... Guess so, there really isn't any better place to go, which works against us, of course."

Re: Rough Landing
Travis nods, and quietly says, "Let's get walking...and keep it down if they do come this way sound will carry from one end of this cave to the other without much effort. And no more light than we need, keep your body between it and the entrance there." Cracking a glowstick Travis holds it close to himself, his all temperature cloak being used to shield the light from traveling back the way they came in.

Re: Rough Landing
The glow-stick issues fourth an eary greenish yellow light which bounces off the dry walls of the passage as the group walks steadily down a gradual incline. Distance becomes impossible to determine but for what could possibly have been 100 meters the party walks until reaching a dead-end. No turn offs, no side passages, no water; the entire passage seems like a very smooth and short mine. The search party has not come to the door of the cave but from the distant sounds its clear the hover craft have landed.

Re: Rough Landing
Travis considers his options for a minute, trying to decide if the searches will this deep into the tunnel. With no answers, he finally reaches out and pushes on a particular rock on the wall, hoping light isn't about to spring forth.

Re: Rough Landing
Without providing the others with him an opportunity to express there opinions about what should be done, or time to consider what there options are, Travis places his hand on an oddly placed flat rock. There is a dull purple glow from under his hand and then with a cracking and grinding of metal and rock, the dead end opens to reveal a room beyond.

Karl blinks, then digs into his pocket for the blaster he took from Samik. "What the hell...."

Re: Rough Landing
Travis walks into the room and immediately begins searching for a way to close the door behind the group. "Get in." he spouts out to the other two.

Re: Rough Landing
Moving into the room after Travis, he quickly takes stock of what was inside the place, pulling a glow stick of his own to light his way. The Blaster Rifle was held at the ready as he looks about.

Re: Rough Landing
No sooner has the last of the group stepped past the door when it slides shut with an echoing boom. Should the search party have been near the entrance to the cave they likely would have heard the sound. With the door shut Jahn pulls out another glow stick and cracks it, the light from the two shows what looks to be a modest sized audience chamber. The rock is well cut and steps down making four rows of seats and at there base is a flat found space for speakers to stand and address those who may have once gathered here. Against the back wall are two pictographs worn by time but still discernable. The left pictograph is of a tree with roots and branches stretching in both directions. The right is of a breast plate to some ancient armor with the sun and moon in the far corners over the suit. Each of you senses that this place is very significant to the force and its power resonates with the memories of those who once held council here. Even for those of you who may not understand what the sensations are or what there meanings may be, know that this place is infused with an ancient power.

Re: Rough Landing
Lowering his weapon and stepping towards the center of the audience chamber. He began looking everything over with the glow stick. Looking to the others, he shrugs before continuing his searchings. "We can be hidden here for a while...this place would fool anyone trying to find us through most means. Even the presence of the Force would mask our own."
