Chapter 3a: Aćar and An-honhār

To the east of Mahasarpa, Zakhara, and Wang Guo are the islands know as Jaza'ir U-Thangal-Mulk, or the Islands of the Beast. Hundreds of islands make up this area, dominated by the Beast and his lycanthrope minons. Will these creatures destroy all or will the peoples that call the islands home survive the terror that has lived amongst them for hundreds of years.(A vWorld Expansion)Run by DM TetNak

The Hu Shi sighs at the answer that was expected of Ashkay. Didn't hurt to ask though.

He looks around at the others in the group, trying to determine their current moods. He is quiet again, his hope for an easy solution to determine whether his friends were infected or not shot down that quickly.

Rishi nods as he listens to the others talk and waits for a time to add into the conversation.

"I can guarantee it as well, if any of them turns we would be forced to put them down. not only our safety, but the safety of our village would depend on it as well."

Garva looks uneasy with the warrior joining the group, he doesn't speak up however. Instead he withdraws closer to his sister, holding her arm and hand tight. The two pass some looks between each other, the twins nods and know the others emotions in the situation, no special powers needed for that. Garva then glances at Chung, glad to hear the man did what he was paid for. "We should get moving." He manages to mutter, "Unless there is something we are missing?"

Xan nods at the result of the disclosure. He certainly wishes no ill on his new companions. But he had been nervous about the possibility of one of those injured by the lycanthropes becoming infected, and doubly so about keeping the matter hidden from the locals. At least now the issue was out in the open.

"I'm ready to go any time," he says, nodding at Garva's suggestion. "Delay can only work against us."

The Hu Shi nods at Xan's words. "Best be off as soon as we can, as long as that is okay with you, Ashkay? Is your man ready to come now?"

Tian raises an eyebrow at Garva's justified nervousness. He gives a slight nod, as if agreeing with Xan as well, but keeping his eyes on Garva. This new development will make things difficult for all of them.

Zihao stays quiet and takes strength in her brother's closeness. She is uninjured and therefore has nothing to add to the conversation with these people. She nods when the group asks if they are ready, as she most certainly is.
I should be back up to full force. Thank you for your patience with my absence!

Ashkay nods, "Go to your ship. You will not wait long." He bows slightly, "Good luck to you in your fight against the Beast. May your spears stab straight and arrows fly true." He turns and walks off, followed by others, toward a nearby house.

Meanwhile, Chung says, "I can be ready within the hour. Come! We will have a full crew!" He smiles, turning, and waddling off toward the docks.

"Let's be off then, we've done all we came here to do." He says gathering his things. He still doesn't look at Garva, refusing to acknowledge the man since the night he ran off from the group.

The Hu Shi nods at the comments of the others. "Does this mean that we won't have to row all the way back?" He stretches his shoulders a bit, imagining the pain that was there previously. "Your ship where we last saw it, Chung, or has it been moved?"
