Prelude: Matsu Akinori

Tadao walks the rest of the distance across the floor of the chamber. He stops just before the gathering of samurai and produces a neatly folded piece of paper. He bows and presents his orders to no particular person. "Sama's I seek Matsu Akinori".

Looking up from the map on his lap, Akinori rises and turns to the newcomer, bowing to him he says "I am Matsu Akinori, Samurai-san." Taking the orders, he opens them up to read.

The letter reads:

Kitsu Tadao-san,

Take time to reflect on the defense of the city by aiding our friends in the Imperial Legion. I am offering your services to them to help route Unicorn spies and scouts in the area. Serve them well.

Your friend, Matsu Akira, shall join you as well.

Akinori nods while reading the letter,looking at Tadao he says, " Currently we are preparing for a scouting mission. There is a advance scout camp that we want to investigate."

Handing Tadao the map, Akinori continues " Study this map, we should be leaving shortly."

The two Lion speak for a short time, then hear the call of approaching riders coming from the city. Tadao notices one of them as Matsu Akira, the Deathseeker ...
