Re: Chapter 3: Aftermath
Koshiro attacks twice, but the Moto does everything in his power to keep from being killed. The sword comes, but Ujo dodges aside, leaving the Magistrate's blade clean of his blood.
Immediately after, the Unicorn turns and runs, leaving his scimitar on the ground. The man bolts as quickly as he can down the street, covering a large distance. Koshiro might be able to catch him, but it will not be easy.

Re: Chapter 3: Aftermath
The Champion forces back a curse as the Moto avoids the wrath of Imperial Justice. As his strikes miss the Seppun's keen stare observes the desperation in the Unicorn's actions, the panicked flight and the abandonment of his own scimitar. "It would appear the gaijin do not treat their blades with the same reverance we do... To imagine an Empire led by them shakes my soul."
Armed with knowledge Koshiro breaks into a sprint after his foe, knowing full well the gaijin cannot keep such a pace for long. He keeps his foe in sight as best he can, judging how severe his earlier strikes actually hinder the fleeing samurai.

Re: Chapter 3: Aftermath
The Witch Hunter gestures for the other two to follow closely as he moves silently towards the Iaijutsu Dojo. Making assumptions as to the status of a building is beyond foolishness. Besides, if they know for certain there is no one inside, they could always use it as a hideout or fallback point in case they are discovered. If others believe it to be abandoned, they might not search it at first.

Re: Chapter 3: Aftermath
Gidayu, Hideki and Takeo hear someone screaming. Something about 'Seppun and traitors'. Perhaps Koshiro has found trouble as well. When they look and see a unarmed Unicorn running, and Koshiro hot on his trail, that answer is provided quite quickly.

Seeing the Unicorn running, with Koshiro hot on his tails Hideki turns and runs towards the unarmed man. Bending low as he nears the man, he makes an attempt to cacth him below his center of gravity, and fall to the ground.

Re: Chapter 3: Aftermath
Kuni Gidayu blinks for a moment, finding the situation somewhat comical but still very unsettling. A general alarm would likely bring great forces down upon them that they would have to escape rather than fight at the moment. A very undesirable circumstance. He leaps into action, trying to cut down the culprit as soon as possible.

Re: Chapter 3: Aftermath
As his chase reaches the group Koshiro continues his pursuit, feeling his shoulders numb from the heavy plates of his armour. The Champion adjusts his course, not wishing to hamper Hideki's own attack or to risk a clumsy strike.

Moving to silence the fool, Takeo positions himself in murdering distance and waits to see if his skill is required.
