New User Class (Custom User Title)

You've probably noticed a few players have a custom title next to their level. They might be a Level 5 Padawan or Level 13 Elite Paladin, etc. You can selet your own title in your UCP under Edit Profile. There's a pick list of choices located under your birthday and location. To pick nothing just select the top option. You can change this at anytime. As your level increases, your title will have special ranks prepended such as Elite and Mythic.

Also if you think we are missing any standard rabks send me a list and I might just add them. These should be for the class so sort of basic stufff like we have now.

I will say, one thing I miss about the old site is the completely custom titles people got after a certain level. It's not a big deal, but it was a nice feature.

It's still here. After each user gets to a certain point, the admins will give them one. I don't think those titles carried over, so @vardaen has been adding and assigning them as requested.

I actually have all the old titles saved and such.
I can re do those custom titles again if people would like it. Notice mine is custom. So if you would like to have your old title, or a new one back, PM me and I can do it.
One issue with them, both now and then, is the icon for the Stars doesn't update automatically, so every 1000 posts you have to alert me so I can change the star icon associated with your title. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of.

@vardaen Actually, as I sit here at DMV, I realized how I can make both work. Let me try it tonight when I get home and I'll let you know.

Alright, Shurijo. It not a big deal, we don't have THAT many users with 3000+ posts. I think we also should only do it for active members. Emeritus Admins, and old users that are inactive can keep their titles as is. Folks like Haya and Muskrat, who are posting and active can let me know and I'll change it for them by hand if you can't figure out an auto way.
