You can now access the website using HTTPS in addition to HTTP.

What is HTTPS?
HTTPS provides authentication of the website and associated web server with which one is communicating, which protects against man-in-the-middle attacks. Additionally, it provides bidirectional encryption of communications between a client and server, which protects against eavesdropping and tampering with and/or forging the contents of the communication.

Should I use HTTPS?
You don't have to use https. The http version of the website will still be accessible. It's an added option for those who would rather use a secure connection to the website. It's the same login, web pages, and forums. It's just a different transport/connection to the server.

If you have any questions about HTTPS/SSL, feel free to ask away and I'm sure there's someone here that can answer the question.

It was mentioned that folks at work that are blocked may give the HTTPS version a try. Depending on the style of block being used it may circumvent it. No promises or anything, but its worth a click.
