The goblin himself drinks the soup. At first he has good table manners, but within two minutes he discards them and is drinking the liquid by picking up the bowl and tipping it down his throat.

"Hmm, oh, lots of things. But . . . especially a bulette. Well, a baby bullette. Keeps eating Old Beezus's carrots it does!" The goblin seems very frustrated. "Can't catch it because Old Beezus is, well, old. Usually asleep when it comes."

"As for who told Old Beezus, that has to be a secret. Old Beezus'll tell you when you kill the bulette, hmm?"

"Well, I will kill it!! The blood spilled will honor the Malar. Do you know where the beast lairs?"

As he waits for the goblin to reply, he too tries to remember any stories of from the tribe about hunting bulletes.
Will try a Knowledge Nature check to try to remember any stories or lore regarding how to hunt a bullete.

Dasgul recalls quite clearly the story of his great uncle, who was mauled by a Bullette. The creature can burrow through earth effortlessly, and has the power to leap high in the air, shredding its foes with its claws (hence, the reports of Dasgul's great uncle's numerous scars from the fight). The shamans of Malar often organize hunts for the monster, because they are the creation of arcane magic in ages past, and not the result of natural processes.

In response to his question, Old Beezus contorts his wrinkled visage in consternation. "Old Beezus doesn't know. Tried to scry it, Old Beezus has, but can't find it. You'll either have to wait for it to come eat Old Beezus's carrots or go out tracking it on your own."

Dasgul nods when he hears Beezus.

"I will try to track him first, if I ca't then I will wait for him to eat your carrots,"

With that, Dasgul stands, checks to make sure he has all of his belongings, then leaves the goblin wizards hut, and beginning at his carrot garden, searches for the bullete's spoor.
Will try to track the bulette.

Death to Carrot Thieves!

Dasgul checks his things, finds that they are all in order, and leaves the hollowed out hill/house before Old Beezus can finish swallowing his beetle stew.

The barbarian reaches the carrot patch, which is just a few steps outside the Goblin's front door. The garden is a shambles, but there is no clear trail leading away from it. Thankfully, Dasgul is an accomplished tracker, and after a moment of study he can discern that a bit of earth leading north has been disturbed. This is likely from the passage of the Bulette under the ground.
Survival check 1d20 + 13 = 30 vs. DC 15. Success.

Dasgul draws his great axe, and moves to follow the bullete's trail, keeping alert for other dangers of the wilderness.
