What about no system? Seriously? Just a pure RP game. We post our actions and you tell us if we're successful or not? Our character sheets can be something very simple like our rank, class, education, etc. like here at http://www.startrek.com/database_article/worf

Looking at the Forums I saw these comments that popped out a lot:TetNak wrote:I know the Cortex System that BSG uses pretty well.
- Surprisingly, Leverage RPG. The Cortex + Hackers Guide talks about using the Leverage system for just such a game. In Leverage, your attributes are the different positions in the team. This translates over into having attributes of Command, science, Engineering, etc., and skills would be as in other Cortex games.
- I would go with Leverage. The way your characters fill out the different roles would work amazingly well for Star Trek.

I have read that Leverage was a good version for ST also.
Also Prime Directive, but then some other options for ship to ship combat.

I would be interested in some Star Trek whatever system (or the absence of it) you decide to use.
