Live Streamed Zombie Campaign

Post by Bo » Sat Nov 07, 2015 2:37 pm

At the request of @AdamDaBomb11 I'm considering running a zombie-type campaign. Unsure of the details yet.
Possible systems would include:
1. Fantasy Flight's 'The End of the World: Zombie Apocalypse'
2. All Flesh Must be Eaten
3. Fate

Let me know your interest level and thoughts on the matter!

Why don't you do End of the World? It is hot right now as far as popularity goes.

Everything I read about it sounds absolutely awesome. The /only/ drawback I've heard about is re-playability .. But I think I could be creative enough as a GM to mitigate that.

Other drawback could be the chargen process that's made for people around the table. Again, I could probably homebrew that situation, too.

End of the World: Zombie Apocalypse is a decent system for 1-shot adventures. It's short and simple enough to use, but not meant for long term usage. After all, it is the apocalypse. Still however, if players are in the proper "my character IS going to die" Cthuluhu-esque mind set, it can be fun. And yes, the CC process does involve everyone sitting around the table and voting on one another's capabilities when they create themselves. A simple pre-game session or even Poll here can help rectify or speed up this process, though it'd probably feel like some kind of Job Application or Resume ;)

If we like how the session turns out, we could do it again in awhile or even transistion over to a system for more of a long shot campaign.

NP bubba. Zombie games are kind of my forte and I had hoped to start re-running a PBP I started here once the new system came out from a buddy of mine. Sadly, they seem to be running into some real life issues that are delaying the finalization of their pdf file. My gut tells me that is has something to do with waiting around for their artist to finish drawing.
