@Vardaen, thanks but I've never really been a fan of D&D.

I've had a brief look at Keltia, but to be honest I'm not sure it's something I can get into at the moment.TetNak wrote:I have a Keltia game going that needs players.
Which Game of Thrones system do you have? ASOIAF RPG? I also have a ASOIAF game going. But would love to get you into Keltia.
Did you have a vacancy in your ASOIAF game?

Well -- I guess.
It is a rather huge game, probably 10 players, with multiple threads running and some players playing multiple people. That game's set in a 'what if' scenario after the published books where Westeros is more splintered and fractured than ever.

No problem, keep in mind, only using the system not the setting. Only really started the 5t Ed game cause there some interest. Take a look around, use the Master Game List link at the top and you'll find something. Or...perhaps you want to run something!

Aye, it's the system that I'm not keen on. Never really been a d20 fan.Vardaen wrote:No problem, keep in mind, only using the system not the setting. There are plenty things I'd love to run, but never seem to have the time to set something up.

Although I have been thinking of running Achtung! Cthulhu or (Savage) SLA Industries for a while now.

Savage Worlds? We tried that system and found we didn't like it much, no one was ever able to hit anyone in combat. Was Kinda of disappointing cause we had high hopes.

I'd be open to a Savage Worlds game--I've played it elsewhere and my experiences with it, including combat, were fine. However, I've got zero interest in anything Cthulhu-related and SLA industries doesn't look like to my taste either.

We tried a SW game, Tet ran it. I thought it was going to be good, but it didn't seem to be. I wonder if we were doing something wrong with the system.

Re: Game Ideas: Possible New Games
I don't think so. As I recall, because the creatures had toughness, or something, it raised their vigor to a point where it was difficult to actually hurt them. I found it to be a very odd and clunky system. As far as a universal system goes, GURPS is WAY out ahead of it.
