Shadows of Esteren
Anyone know anything about this game? They had a fairly big presence at Gen Con. Seemed interesting and their books were really pretty.

Looks very good from what I've read so far. The core rulebook is difficult to navigate in spots and has a lot of background fluff (which is good in my opinion) that can feel overwhelming. All in all it looks like some kind of Mythic Celtic setting with traditional dark elements based off of actual folklore & mythology. Kind of Middle-earth traditional fantasy meets Call of Cthulhu dark conspiracy work of the powers that be. It's definitely reading as very dark fantasy dark ages so far with lots of don't go out at night or fall asleep on guard duty elements, ie traditional fears and myths back then.
