Seriously, how much of a factor do you expect combat to be? I made a character with combat skills. But I in no way made what could be considered a "combat character." I think none of us have. (At least as far as physical combat goes - space combat we have covered.)

If personal combat is going to be a major focus of the game, we all need to rethink character concepts.

Ted is a decent knife fighter/brawler. He's built to be the engineer and pseudo security dude (though no real knowledge of the way the law works, he does know the ships security systems inside and out).

At this point you're the best combat character we have. All I have is:

Beam Weapons/TL11 15
Brawling 15
Gunner/TL11 (Beams) 19
Gunner/TL11 (Missiles) 19
Gunner/TL11 (Sandcasters) 19
Guns/TL11 (Pistol) 15
Karate 13
Saber 14
Strategy (Space) 11
Tactics 11

My problem is that it's been ages since I've played GURPS so I can't remember what maneuvers are worth specializing it.

The Techniques summary on p. 304 makes it a little easier. For example, you could have --

Back Kick - 9
Elbow Strike - 11
Jump Kick - 9
Kicking - 11
Knee Strike - 12

All for 0 points. Those are all default values.
