Gaash is scratching at his ear when he stops suddenly. "Gone! Shez gone!" The goblin leaps from the back of the wolf and does a strange little jig swinging his arms and knocking his knees together. "Now Gaash eatz, he eatz much as Gaash can." He lifts his nose and sniffs, "I smelles it too Scar, letz find it." The goblin shouts a command at his wolf and the two pad into the kitchen behind Broknar. "Foodses! Yes, Yes, YES!" He at once attacks the pantry, knocking food to the floor, meats and cheeses for his wolf to gobble up as he attacks other portions of meat, and locates himself as much beer as his little goblin belly can handle. He dumps some into a bowl and gives it to the wolf as well. Within an hour he and the wolf lay in a pile on the floor, drunk and fat on the kitchen of Vartom. He doesn't much interact with anyone during the week, and practically lives in the kitchen, spending most of the time drunk on beer and rare meat. By the end of the time he smells as musky and as rank as his wolf does. He bothers to get the names of people, and perhaps their primary tallents, offering his own, and his 'exterpert huntinz skillz' if he is asked. All in all he is a fairly disgusting, and therefore typical, goblin wolf rider.

Panya sticks very close to Karug over the next few days, getting used to being paired with an Orc. She's sure he likes it no more than she does, but it will keep her safe. Besides people adapt and they'll probably end up friendlier to her than those she left behind. Though what would your mother say?? She laughs alittle but doesn't share the joke, since none of them have met, or are likely to meet her mother.

She tells the group at large that she is studying Necromancy and that she doesn't know who her father was, not that she really cares- her mother is strange enough. She is companionable as she can be considering the dislike between orcs and elves run both ways. But at least she is trying. Panya focuses her energies on becoming something akin to friends with Karug.
We will find this f-ing troll, and kill it's f-ing ass.

Broknar gets grumpier with every day of inaction. He pretty much keeps to himself most of the time, and divides his time between spending time in the kitchen eating and drinking silently, outside shadow sparring or watching the fires burn below silently wishing this boring existence would end one way or another.

Those he happens to run into encounter a silent brooding figure who says nothing, and at best acknowledges others with a slight nod of his head.

Urgthugak tends to remain on the first floor of the castle for most of the time watching the ants do their various tasks. On the third day he disappears for some time, but eventually shows back up. He lets anyone that cares know a path is being made down the mountain by the ants, and then goes back to studying them and their tasks. He eats and talks with the others on occasion but generally has little to say about any topic.

Karug speaks to the elf, and surprisingly, he is friendly enough to the elf. Perhaps he likes the way she looks, orcs are known to be crass, obviously. The orc eats, pray, and simply stares at his crystal that he was able to collect and allowed to have. He does not do much else, really, beside check in on the others from time to time.

The end of the Calm

Several days pass, a military path is build down the mountain by the ants that seem to be rapidly increasing in number. The fire has died down and much of the forest immediately below the mountain is now ash. You have all had time to become bored before the female voice in your head summons you to Vartom's presence in the 'throne room.'
