"So do you have something for us to do?" Broknar asks impatiently as he unconsciously thumbs the edge of his axe.

The goblin gives a little squeek, "Eeek! No no no no, Gaash not want smelly elf womanz to touch him or to have herses way with me!" He look shocked and a bit pissed at the idea of an elven woman doing things to him. "Nots unless she is cooking Gaash good foodses, not smell elf foodses. Maybe we just eat the elf lady?" He wrinkles his nose and then bonks himself on the side of the head, "No no no Gaash. The boss wants the elf not hurt, eatingz the elf would hurt her...and taste bad *BLECH*." He spits a few times and then shrugs his shoulders, lets out a sigh, and listens up. "Yeah Big Boss man, what do you want us to do. Gaash will stab-stab your enemies in the eyes or cut off their grunlings if you want." Again he makes a pantomime of castrating someone.

Urgthugak looks at Broknar like he's the village idiot. "He just told us what he wants us to do. Are you that daft?"

Broknar's eyes narrow in anger. Turning to face Urgthugak he suddenly charges forward intent on tackling him to the ground.

More fighting in Vartom's Throne Room

Post by Bitom » Tue Nov 20, 2007 9:07 pm

Karug 22, Vartom: 21, Gaash 17.4, Broknar 17.3, Urgthugak 7, Panya 6
Broknar screams in rage, lowers his shoulder, and starts to charge at the member of the Lightning Wyrm clan. Nobody is the least bit surprised by this, in fact, they've been waiting for the surly battle commander to snap all week.
Sense motive checks to act in surprise round, set by Grim's Dex roll: DC 11
Panya: 13
Urgthugak : 11
Karug: 12
Gaash: 20
Vartom: More than 20, I'm too lazy to do the math

Normal combat round, but people are flat-footed until their action.
Before his former commander gets to his target, Karug acts.

"You fool!" yells out the priest. He jerks off his sawtooth blade and double hands it. With Broknar rushing the Lightning Wyrm orc, Karug swings down at the charging fool with a two handed stroke. Make no mistake, it is a killing blow, and one not to confused with any other purpose.

Karug 22, Vartom: 21, Gaash 17.4, Broknar 17.3, Urgthugak 7, Panya 6
Karug has apparently had enough of this fighting in Vartom's presence, he strides forward, unslinging his serrated blade and drawing it viciously across Broknar's chest, but the battle commander is not so weak as to fall from one blow.

Vartom does not seem interested in getting involved this time.
Karug attacks Broknar: 24 hit for 12 damage
Gaash is next.

Gaash is unarmored, and unarmed. He isn't a fool enough to join this fight between the clashing Orcs. He gives up any chance to show his dominance in the group for leader spot. While the others are distracted he slips into the shadows of the chamber, and skulks around the room to bring himself up on Vartom's flank. The little goblin hopes his proximity to the god made mortal will be enough protection to keep him safe from the fighting.

Raising his weapon high above his head, Broknar snarls as Karug's weapon cuts a deep gash in him. Continuing his charge, intent on removing Urgthugak's head from his body.
Swift action - Assume Punishing Stance, Bull Rush and Charging Minotaur on Urgthugak. Normal damage.
