Jackson 14, Kruger 13, Frank 10, Wainwright 9
Frank steps forward, swinging a fist into the cop's left eye before he can react. His eye instantly puffs up and grows red, but the cop is not pushed out of the man's path toward the intact door. Kruger still has his gun drawn at nearly a point blank range. The detective, Wainwright, must decide what he will do ...

"God fucking damn it! Damn! You can't interrogate a corpse! Damn it. That's it, this guy's sidewalk meat. No choice."

Wainwright sees the guy turn around and belt Kruger right in the face. He drops his cell and draws his gun.

"The hard way, then."

He draws as quick a bead as he can, pulling the trigger as soon as he has a shot.
Can you draw and fire in one round in this system? I don't have the relevant texts with me. Anyway. Dex + Firearms = 4 dice, base, with a Glock 17.

Jackson 14, Kruger 13, Frank 10, Wainwright 9
Wainright draws his gun quickly and points it at Frank. Frank, who is acting quite insane, has two cops now pointing guns at him ...
Bob: Draw Gun: Takes one turn
Jackson 14, Kruger 13, Frank 10, Wainwright 9
The police officer staggers back, points his gun, and fires. The bullet passes through the top of Frank's shoulder, causing the skin and muscle to be peeled back, but the wound is really only a scratch wound and does not seem to slow him down.
Close Combat: Firearms: 8 - 2 (Defense Give/Close Combat): Dice Pool: 6. 1 Success

The pain tears through Frank's shoulder feeding his fury. Much like chum in a pool of sharks. Blind to almost everything but the seething anger within him. He launches a massive arm at the midsection of Kruger attempting to wrap him up as a hostage and place the officer between himself and Wainwright. The giant holds no love for the uniformed prick and plans to handle him as such. Shaking him vigorously in front of himself until he gets what he wants.
Dice pool: Strength(4)+ Brawl(4)+ Vigor(2)= Total of (10) - defense of officer.

Jackson 14, Kruger 13, Frank 10, Wainwright 9
Frank grabs the wrist of the uniformed cop, but he has yet to pull him into so that he can put the cop in between himself and the other cop, Bob. As logic indicates, things are not looking good for Frank as his back is exposed to Bob ...

No thought. No inner monologue. Bob's brain snaps back to all the training in the academy, all the time spent on the range - he never was the best shot, but that's not important. What's important is stopping Kreuger - asshole that he is nonwithstanding - from getting killed in the line of duty.

Exhale. Trigger.

*BLAM*
Firing one shot at Frank. Dice pool = Dex 2 + Firearms 2. 4 Dice without modifiers. Woo.

Jackson 14, Kruger 13, Frank 10, Wainwright 9
Wainright aims closely, squinting and preparing to fire, unfortunately Kruger is right next to Frank. He takes careful aim not to hit the cop, and fires. The bullet slashes across Frank's side, deflecting into the wall nearby.
Shoot Frank: 4 + 1 (Aim) - 2 (Close Combat; Krugrr) = 3 Dice Pool, 1 Success
Jackson 14, Kruger 13, Frank 10, Wainwright 9
"What the fuck!?!" Frank and Bob hear from somewhere behind Kruger. There he is, Kruger's partner, Jackson. He already has his gun pulled, and points the weapon toward Frank and fires instantly. Fortunately for Frank, he is careful not to shoot Kruger as well, and the bullet only nicks Frank's leg.
Shoot Frank: 8 - 2 (Close Combat; Kruger) = 6 Dice Pool, 1 Success
Kruger curses from the tight grip, but he is professionally trained in police unarmed combat, and it suits him well even against the brute. He rears back and kicks out the legs of Frank and sends him onto his back. Kruger immediately drops his knee onto Frank's chest and sticks his gun DIRECTLY into Frank's face. "FREEZE!"
Immobilize Frank: 5 - (6: Frank's Strength + Vigor): Chance Roll:

<RPGWebsite> +ROLL: Tet'Nak rolls 1d10 and the dice show: 10 = 10
<RPGWebsite> +ROLL: Tet'Nak rolls 1d10 and the dice show: 9 = 9

2 Success! Frank Immobilized!
On his back, a gun pointed at his head, Frank apparently must decide between death and capture ...

Frank feels the sting of scorpians as hot pieces of metal crease his flesh over and over again. Suddenly his legs stop supporting his girth and he crumbles to the pavement below. Now completely out numbered and out gunned he relaxes as the warm barrel of a gun presses into the nape of his neck. He drops his arms out to his sides knowing full well from past run ins with the law that they just don't make cuffs his size. He silently smirks as his mind regresses to his youth. He hears a flurry of noise in the background though he can't seem to make sense of it. The ringing of close ranged gunfire ringing in his ears. He closes his eyes and imagines Miss November 1979.

Captured!

Post by TetNak » Wed Apr 11, 2007 12:51 am

Jackson quickly jumps on Frank as well, holstering his gun and pulling out his cuffs. With Kruger's help, they roll Frank over onto his back, and it helps he's not struggling. Jackson slaps one side of the cuffs around Frank's thick wrist, but looks as though it won't reach the other wrist, due to Frank's hugely broad shoulders and back. Kruger helps, giving Jackson his set, which they interlink together and complete cuffing Frank.

"Jesus fucking hell!" Kruger curses, grabbing his face that got bashed by Frank's fist.

Bob keeps his gun trained on the huge guy on the floor as the cops finish restraining him. He swears at himself - this was just one gigantic clusterfuck, and all because he thought he could get this psycho to come in peacefully. A witness that didn't eat a uniform's nightstick is usually more eager and willing to talk than usual ones who end up with a savage beating, on top of all the other shit happening to them through the night.

"That's closed some doors to understanding this case," Bob admits to himself. This man is not going to cooperate in the interrogation room. Whatever he has against cops - and they always have something against cops - is going to be there in full force as soon as he walks in. Shit.

Then again, this guy looks big enough to snap a regular fellow in two... and he was acting pretty damn guilty... but the investigation has hardly even started. There's always something more to the case... shit, the case...

Wainwright looks Kreuger in the face, checks how much he's bleeding.

"Shit, *that's* what I was hoping to avoid here. You got off lucky. This guy's on drugs or something. You're lucky Jackson got in here to give you a hand, I'm not sure a gunshot wound would have stopped him from turning you into sidewalk meat..."
