Falrim gives the Chieftain a nod goodbye, then looks to his parents who stand not far away among the other parents. "I shall see you soon Mother and Father." He looks away, and plods off into the north staying with the main group of the youths who begin their first Winter Walk!

Kyllean blinks and turns to Falrim, taken aback. Kyl was not used to NOT being a scout, being isolated and alone. That was his way. He was good at it. He sighed and shook his head. This group would be...extremely strange.

Though not particularly fast Chubai continues to walk not looking back. As anyone of the village could tell you, once the girl has made up her mind there is no stopping her. Slowly she begins to fade into the glacial landscape. With no regrets or patience for those getting off to a slow start. Chief, chief, what was that foolish boy thinking?.

"Kyllean, you better hurry, Chubai is going to ruin any chance you have of scouting." The seer travels with the main body of young men his snow shoes tapping the snow as he moves forward. He never seems to shiver or be cold, a strange thing, but certainly a powerful thing as well.

With one more tap-and-point to his sweetheart. Iluak urges his remaining companions forward, following them with a slow, measured stride. With a walk like that, he could keep going to the edge of the World.
He smiles, knowing that a trip begun well is already half-over. He made no request of the chief, knowing that there's a bigger question he has to ask when - not if - he gets home.

Kyllean shakes his head again and sighes. He then hurries forward to do his job, scouting ahead. He begins watching for any game to hunt, predators to watch out for, any trailsign left here, and any natural dangers to point out to the group.

Chubai watches as the first member of the group prepares to make his way past her. Just as he moves beyond her she exclaims, "Kyllean keep your cloak closed you fool. Do you wish to catch your death this early in our journey?" Her words are jagged and sharp much like her personality, but her meaning is for his own good. The swishing of snowshoe's and the *plunk* of her walking stick almost harmonized. Obviously she has been in the wilderness before...

Amarok, not seeing anyone against the idea, moves ahead to help with the scouting. He calls out, saying, "Kyllean, you take the right, and I'll take the left." He runs ahead to do his work.
