A place for developers and idea makers to give their input. I would like this to be a co-operative work for any and all who grace these boards. I personally will be drawing heavily from MERP and the recent Lord of the Rings RPG from Decipher games.
Thoughts of mine.
- Middle Earth is interesting in that the scale of it goes from very small to epic, but regardless of the scale it is a low magic game. If you look at the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, no one among the mortal Free Peoples has any form of magic. There are magic items about, but even they are rare. Of course a campaign in the first age would be totally different but that is a different story for a different time.
