Fellowship of the Dice

"For feth's sake! You pig, heretic! Die already! I have other appointments to see to!" She jabs at the guy one more time, trying desperately to tie Rego's body count in this skirmish. Hopefully, her luck will return...

Rego leaves no chance for the heretic to strike again. As Solaria thrust with the bayonet the priest prepares to divide the man tween. His giant razor blade aiming to give the barbarian the closest shave of his life. ..."And in blood your soul redeemed...".

Solaria curses the man out, ducks to the left, and then uses Rego's presense to distract the man. With a stab of her mono bayonet she slices into the man's arm, deep into the muscle and then pins his arm to his torso! The blade sticks through the Ashleen's arm, and is wedged in his ribs even. With a scream he looks down, but as Solaria yanks the blade free the blood starts pumping out of the wounds, he screams, "You are all doooomed!" He collapses to the ground dead.

The kill count between the Arbite and the Cleric is tied.
Glancing around you see no other Voicers in the immediate area, and have a few moments to deal with wounds, the women, and citizens...

Solaria looks down at her wound, it's not serious and can be tended later. Coughing out some smoke and soot from her lungs, the Arbite hurries over to the woman the Voicer was raping. She holds out her hands, trying to comfort the woman and help her up, covering her exposed body in any way she can. As she guides the woman away, she looks to pick up the auto-pistol she dropped and clear the jam for later use. "Father, can you see if there are any more people to round up. You were right in sending them tot he Catherdral. It's the only refuge right now..."

Father Rego cradles an injured child in his scarred hands, his greatsword slung across his back in at a solem angle. "Yes, child... we will find your mother...", he says to the soot blackened form in his arms. He looks over at Solaria, helping the woman to her feet and yells out, "Follow us to shelter, my flock! The Emperor protects and his outstretched hands wait to hold you at the Cathedral!", Rego's voice tinny in the re-breather. He starts to walk with their ragged group to safety, both he and Solaria helping where they can. And both he and his female companion looking across the bodies for anything useful in a pinch...

Solaria helps the raped woman to her feet, she is shaking and crying. With Solaria's help to her feet she tugs against Solaria's guiding hand. She walks to the dead man that was atop her and kicks him square in the face, for good messure, then spits on his corpse. "Rot in hell you filthey son of a bitch." She covers up his chest and moves slowly with the others.

The Arbite scoops up her weapon, unjamms is and reloads where she needs too. Gathering the people from the tents Rego lifts a young child, no more then four years old, into his arms. The toddler is having trouble breathing with all the smoke and the Cleric taks off his mask and puts it on the babe to help.

Solaria and Rego now with a dozen people, old men, women, children, and one man of fighting strength, start hurrying toward the cathedral. Reaching the main road, and almost back where you split from the others you can see the Genetoria in the distance to the south, fires burn, many small fires burn all around it, one great greesy plume of smoke is rising up in the middle of the area, and the crack of Psyker power, last fire and shotgun blasts echos on the air.

Solaria nods to the able bodied man, "Take what weapons you can from the dead Voicers. You'll need them to protect your fellow Stern Hopers. The fight isn't over yet..."

Looking over towards the Genetoria, she taps her vox bead, opening up a channel. "Jericus! Are you there? How are you faring, Boss?"

Rego quickly but quietly ushers the refugees toward the cathedral. His giant blade used as a deterrent to fend off all but the most fervent of fanatics.

Recieving the static punctuated message, Solaria sends one more back, "Roger, Boss. No casualties here, all Ashleen dead. We saved some people, moving them to cover. Over." The Arbite looks over her shoulder as she helps the woman, "Keep together, everyone and look sharp. We're not out of this yet..."

Rego just continues listening to the vox traffic as he escorts the survivors towards the chapel. He is ready for whatever the God Emperor throws in his path, or so he believes. Only time will tell if his religious fervor is justified...
