Asod Morrir: Round 6

Round 5 Haxtes 13, Lucius 10, Zombies 10, Damien 9, Jericus 8, Baron Ulbrexis 6, All Arbites 4

Round 6 Haxtes 13, Lucius 10, Zombies 10, Damien 9, Jericus 8, Baron Ulbrexis 6, All Arbites 4
Damien wishes Sword was here, but the man isn't. Damien continues to push himself, the strain from so much psychic energy channeled into the same ability is taking a toll on him, his eyes look sunken and his face is pale. Still he manages to send five of the warp zombies to the deck.

Jericus leans and shoots one of them in the head blowing its head into pieces with Brimstone causing a spray of ichor all over the place.

The Baron, a nice weapon in his hand smiles at Lucius then stalks forward, "I'm coming for your Morrir!" He pumps the shotgun and fires the incendiary shot into the chest of the mutant. There is a blast that engulfs Asod in a flash of fire making him scream out, "No!" He spins and pats himself and the flames don't catch, but he's hurt, for the first time you've seen the mutant leader hurt from the Baron's shot.

Rotlan shouts, "Keep at it men, shoot them in the head!" He and the others fire off their guns, many of them are now out of ammo and will have to reload, and even with all the various blasts only a few of the zombies are even lightly wounded.

Asod Morrir: Round 6

Post by Grimbold » Wed Feb 08, 2017 8:36 am

For the moment, some of the zombies are locked up in the other room, so Haxtes can focus on other targets. He moves forward and takes out his hellgun. "It is the Omnissiah's will to delete you." He points his flamer as well as the hellgun at Morrir and sprays him (and the two zombies) with fire.
Move: se
Free: draw hellgun with quickdraw.

Attack Morrir and the two zombies with two weapon combat (ambidextrous, two weapon combat talent, can use hellgun in one hand with special glove):
Use "Destroyer" flamer in left hand.
Use "D'Laku Hellgun" - Exterminator Cartridge with the right hand.

Lucius seethes with anger as he pummels the zombie next to him, hoping to clear himself a path to the mutant terrorist. He had given Ulbrexis a chance to kill him, but, by the Throne, he wanted him alive!

Asod Morrir: Round 6

Post by Vardaen » Wed Feb 08, 2017 6:40 pm

Round 6 Haxtes 13, Lucius 10, Zombies 10, Damien 9, Jericus 8, Baron Ulbrexis 6, All Arbites 4
Haxtes equips himself with a pair of different weapons, then turns them on. The weapons both spit white hot burning promethium into the air. The heat is so great Sgt.Mallier screams out, "Holy Shit watch it!" He ducks clear but the lone Arbite on the edge of the blast doesn't, and it light up like an Iocanthus Holiday Tree. He is screaming as he is being burnt alive. The flames wrap around Morir and the zombies and the room itself, blasting out the window clearing it of more zombies for the moment. The warp zombies caught up in the flamers are burnt to a crisp, but when the fire dies down Morrir is standing there on the desk laughing, totally unhurt, not even lightly scorched.

Lucius seethes with anger, and his mace powered up, he beats one of the zombies into a blood pulp. He shatters ribs, flattens an arm, and then crushes what's left of the things life out of its chest with his third stroke. That is a messy affair over there.

Then the zombies march on, they rise from the ground, they move on the Baron and others, and burst into the chamber from various access points. Those in the briefing room are banging harder and harder on the door and its starting to stress. You watch as a few of the zombies actually reach down and lift up fallen shotguns from the Arbites! They are getting smarter and smarter with each wave!

Assod Morrir cackles, "You can not defeat me! I am invincible!" He levels his gun at the Baron and fires. The shot rings out and hits the Baron square in the chest! The blast sends Ulbexis spinning around to the floor. A large bleeding wound is opened up in his chest and she's gasping for air as he lays there covering the floor in his blood. He manages a rasping few last words before he passes out from the blood loss, "I hurt him, its me... its me, something about me that can wound him...kill him..." then he bleeds out and passes out right there, Lucius shotgun laying in the pool of blood of the Baron.

Damien and Jericus...

Damien cries to the heavens, raising his Staff high. "God-Emperor of Mankind! Bless us with your strength in this unholy hour. Strengthen your Servants, that they might bring glory to your Name!" He calls upon his abilities, willing the Baron to health once again.
Finally! Someone to Heal! (wait, that's a terrible thing) Anyways, this is where I shine.

Cast 'Seal Wounds' on the Baron. Full Casting, just targeting him (well, unless I do amazing and heal him to full, and there's someone else that could use a boost too). It can heal both normal and Critical Damage. Behold the power of the Biomancer!

"Damien," Jericus says in an even voice. "If he's not dead, we need Ulbrexis up again. He seems to be the only one who can hurt that damn thing. Demonic pact, perhaps?: He shakes his head, aims at one of the Warp zombies near Ulbrexis, and fires.

"Lucius, you might try dipping your maul in Ulbrexis' blood before you swing at Morrir," he suggests in that same even tone. "It couldn't hurt and it might help."
Half Action: Move SE E E
Half Action: Fire PB at Z10, aiming for the head.
+30 (PB) -10 (Called) = +20

Also, I have Forbidden Lore (Cults), Forbidden Lore (Daemonology), Forbidden Lore (Heresy), and Forbidden Lore (Warp). Do any of those help figure out what it might be about Ulbrexis that makes him able to hurt Morrir? Best I can get is that there's some kind of a pact with a Warp Demon that makes him vulnerable to Ulbrexis.

Asod Morrir: Round 7

Post by Vardaen » Wed Feb 08, 2017 8:57 pm

Round 6 Haxtes 13, Lucius 10, Zombies 10, Damien 9, Jericus 8, Baron Ulbrexis 6, All Arbites 4

Round 7 Haxtes 13, Lucius 10, Zombies 10, Damien 9, Jericus 8, Baron Ulbrexis 6, All Arbites 4
Jericus calls to Damien to heal the Baron, and then calls out to Lucius to dip his maul in the pools of blood to use on Asod Morrir. He himself moves up and fires a shot into the head of a zombie, but for the first time the impact of the shot doesn't take the thing down. He blows off half of its face, but it remains alive, the power of the warp keeping it up and fighting when any normal man would have collapsed over.

The Damien calls on his power causing most of the vid screams in the area to warp and ripple with power distorting their display. A glance at any one of them shows hundreds of warp zombies down below in the pit massacring the population all the while each fallen serf rising as a new zombie. A mirror shatter in Rotlan's quarters but as the ripple fades the wounds suffered by the Arbites and by the Baron knit themselves back together. The Baron's bleeding stops and he sits up right as his chest knits back together. The burning arbite's crackling flesh becomes soft once more even as he puts the flames out that threaten to burn him alive.

The Baron gasps, "His daemon pact, I'm the spoil!" He grabs the shotgun, but has too many zombies around him to turn on Morrir again. So he points it up and blows the rest of the head off the zombie that Jericus started on.

Rotlan and the Arbite at his side pump their shotguns into the other wounded one and together blow its body into several smaller parts slaying it. Rotlan is shouting, "Keep at it men! Fire till you are out of ammo!" All around the chamber the Arbites, and Mallier score hits wounding the zombies here and there. Its about as clear as you can hope for. The flames from Haxtes have blocked one entrance, which might slow down some of the zombie arrivals.

Haxtes and Lucius...

Asod Morrir: Round 7

Post by bluntpencil2001 » Wed Feb 08, 2017 11:10 pm

Lucius tucks his head down, lifting his shield high, as he pushes forward. He ignores the vid-screen and the screaming Arbitrator; victory demands sacrifice, after all.

He moves into place, aiming to protect Ulbrexis with his Synford-pattern bulwark, and strikes out with his maul.
Move next to Ulbrexis, strike at 14. Suck up any hits I draw, that's what the armour is for! Parry with shield if possible.

Haxtes takes an additional second to process what has just happened. Morrir unhurt, Ulbrexis hurt, then healed... And Ulbrexis being the key to killing the mutant. For now, the flamer is useless, so Haxtes stows it away somewhere beneath his red robes. His Hellgun still in hand, he fires at the closest zombie.
Free: stow away flamer (with quickdraw)
Full: Full auto burst with hellgun at zombie (-5), (just s,sw of Haxtes). Point blank +30, Full auto+20, +10 quality +10 targeter... BS 44 - 5 shots at 1d10+3 with pen 4.

Asod Morrir: Round 7

Post by Vardaen » Fri Feb 10, 2017 5:09 pm

Round 7 Haxtes 13, Lucius 10, Zombies 10, Damien 9, Jericus 8, Baron Ulbrexis 6, All Arbites 4
Haxtes stashes his flamer and lifts his Hell Gun at the nearest enemy. He unloads five shots right into its chest. Shot after shot strikes and disapates on impact. The blasts are very very weak, each one hardly enough to wound a dog. When the barrel is smoking and the shots clear the zombie has only a minor burn mark on it!

Lucius moves, he has to get to the Baron and Morir. He lifts his shield over his head and takes a blow on it from the war zombies as he puts himself into position. He swings, missing wide the nearby enemy but he draws its focus on himself.

The horde presses in, and the Arbites and Mallier are hard pressed. The banging on the briefing room door is louder and louder and its starting to give way, it won't last. The same goes for the Arbites, they are now starting to take hits here and there, some of them are lightly wounded including Mallier. "Someone kill that fucker already!" he shouts.

Morir is cackling, he takes aim on the nearest Arbite who stands between him and the Baron. He fires and blows the man's skull into a dozen pieces sending him to the ground headless. More zombies press in, two on Jericus now, and more on Lucius. Jericus dodges one and ducks another attack. Lucius takes a blow to the side, but his armor holds up against the strike.

Damien, Jericus and your dwindling allies...
