As she ends her movement, Merica's hold on the grip of her boltgun tightens further before she is charged and pinned to the ground.

Gritting her teeth beneath her helmet, she breathlessly points her weapon toward the creature to shoot.
Full: Half Aim + Shoot (burst)

Ballistics: 47
Sighted +10, Blank +30, Aim +10, Fatigue -10, Prone -10
Total: 77

Reliable weapon

If Haxtes kills it, I'm still going to shoot. I'm not happy.

Damien trusts that Jericus and Haxtes can easily deal with the last beast. The psyker makes his way towards the burning body of Thrungg, reaching out with his supernatural senses for any continuing disturbances in the Immaterium. He is wary of the daemon hand that the man was sporting. It could have possibly simply been an unholy method of enhancing his abilities, or perhaps he might stand up possesses by a Greater Daemon at any moment.
Move towards Thrungg. Psyniscience check focusing on his body / daemon hand.

Note: You do NOT get the Point Blank Range Bonus while engaged in melee/close combat.

Point Blank
Rolls to hit a target within three metres with a ranged weapon
are Easy (+30). Note that this bonus does not apply when
shooting targets that are in close combat with the character.
Round 3 Jericus 13, Thungg & Pets 11, Haxtes 9, Damien 4, Merica 1
Round 4 Jericus 13, Pets 11, Haxtes 9, Damien 4, Merica 1
Haxtes stows his flamer and switches weapons. He puts a bunch more bullets into the downed burning husk of one of the beasts, its dead, and now really really dead. His other hand turns and fires a few blasts of lasfire at the one atop Merica. One grazes the beast, a pretty good shot that scorches and burns its tough hide making it howl and cry.

Damien stalks toward the downed Thrungg. His mind reaches out and can sense no more activity on the man, but there is warp twisted powers flowing about that damnable hand.

Merica, under the weight of the beast points her gun up at the belly of it, and pulls the trigger. Just then it moves and the shot shatters a hanging cage above the pair. Snarling, and drooling blood now, the thing looks down on her ready to bite her head off.

Jericus...
Haxtes: Stow Flamer, Full Auto @1 = Its still dead, Semi auto #4: 48 Success (1 Success)[Dodge: 81 Fail]: Tearing (9,10) Take "10" (fury: 08 Success): 7 + 5 = 22 - 0AP (2AP-2Pen) - 10 T =12 Wounds
Damien: Move, No Life from Thrungg but still warp from Hand
Merica: Aim Shoot (Prone, Etc): 88 Miss
Just move Damien 3 West

With one beast still up and right next to him - and not right in his face - Jericus takes the time to sight the beast with his laser sight and fire off another round from Brimstone. Besides, he wanted a chance to find out who this newcomer was. And he wouldn't get very good answers if she was dead.
Half Action: Aim at #4
Half Action: Fire Brimstone at #4
Ah, the difference one square makes!

Jericus, free from the claws of the beast takes a knee. He lines up a shot with perfect accuracy, and fires. Brimstone does not disappoint. The weapon tears through the back of the skull of the last beast causing its face to splatter all over the downed woman. Skull fragments fly about, and grey matter splashes about. The hulking form of the creature calls atop Merica pinning her to the ground with its sheer bulk.

As the birds fly all over the place screaming and in a panic you realize the fight here is over. The scounds of the battle outside are dying down as well. The auto gun has gone silent, and you can hear Rotlan shouting commands, and the sporadic crack of lasrifles as the guard clean up stragglers out in the courtyard.
Jericus: Aim, PB, Head Shot: 71 vs 83 Hit for 14 - 0 AP (2AP- 7 Pen) - 5 T (Felling) - 9 Wounds = DEAD

Wishing not to be completely eclipsed in victory, Merica makes an attempt to shove the beast off and get back on her feet.

"Is everyone okay?" Jericus asks of his team before adding, "can you two secure that hand properly? I'm not sure if it's advanced technology or a Warp aberration, but between you I'm guessing you have the skills to make sure it's safely stowed."

Then he steps over to Merica. "Thank you for your unexpected assistance," he says. "Did Rotlan send you to help us?"

Damien is slightly limping from the last blast from the fallen noble, but he remains focused on his task. "I'm handling it. Thrungg is definitely dead, but that daemon arm still feels active in the Immaterium. Ideally it should be captured and contained, for examination by the Ordos Hereticus or the Ordos Malleus. If it cannot be contained, then I will have to attempt to destroy it for the safety of mankind." He holds his power Staff at the ready, and approaches the arm to examine it further.

The highly augmented techpriest just nods to Merica and gathers his weapons, moving to Damiens side and looking at the hand.

She presses her heel into the creature's exposed socket - no response.

"He did," she answers, "though he seemed reluctant. The sooner you had dealt with the royal, the quicker you'd arrive to aid the guardsmen, I believe that was the sentiment."
