So, this begs the question "What makes a good team name?"

Is our team linked to a city? Real or fictional
Do we have a Mascot?
Are we trying to allude to some fomerly glorious military franchise (Roman Empire, Spartans, Mongol Hordes?)
Do we try to conjure some connection to a specific hero of olde?

And here's the part in the post where I spew out a couple of names:
Victory City Vanquishers
The Grudgebearers
Silver Centurions
Trojan Force (meh....)
Bludgeons and Bullets
Ambulance Loaders
Operation NoGo

I'm sure you get where these are going... start spewing them out.

Does anyone have additonal ideas?
I do like the blackand white, back turned Nixon V... but somehow I doubt that in a world where Ronald Reagan is emperor, that images of Nixon will survive the thought police...

I don't want to railroad the decision, but something about "Team V" is wierd...

I mean, I would say that our characters should be naming the team in the XCrawl world, and as unlikely as it is, they wouldn't know who Vardaen is.

They would know who Dj Ronin and DJ Dirty 'V' were... but we'd then be "Team Dirty V"...

More spurious name generation:

Parlor City Scourge
Bingotown Blackout
Iron Alphas
The Neo-Metro Maulers
Galloping Doom
Harbingers Guild

I like the Parlor City Scourge...

On another note: Teamwork Feats!

Or current two Team Work Feats that are of any real use to us are:

Missle Volley and Indirect Fire

In order for you to gain the benefits of these two Teamwork Feats you need your character to have the following:

For Indirect Fire: 3 RANKS of Spot. So this 3 ranks, not total, but 3 RANKS of spot. This will let you take advatnage of our spotter (Joni's Gun Bunny) to ignore cover bonuses).

For Missle Volley: Point Blank Shot Feat, this will let you join in on a shot where we all target the same thing and fire once at it gaining bonuses equal to the number of us shooting.

So if you have room to take these benefits awesome! If its a real hassle, then you don't have to.

Just a note on the Teamwork Feats

My Potion Doc, Joni's Gun Bunny, and Pyg's Caber Tosser are all set with these.

Meanwhile, in the IRC Channel:

It has been decided that this team is here by named:

"The Parlor City Scourge"

because the DJ's were in a pinch for a name so they could do some other work.
All complaints can be filed by writing them on large value currency notes and sending them directly to Bitom or Brennor.

Damn, I'm too late. well, I'm still showing up with the second nixon image on my T-shirt damnit!

on a side note, did we decide on a "theme" for our team? while I'm playing with stuff, I do really like the idea of shadowrun as the theme... I haven't decided what I'm playing yet, but I will extremely soon.

Considering our groups make up, theme will be hard, but we can gear ourselves more toward a Shadowrunny theme...
