Haha... trying to make sure Tet makes it, huh?
And yeah, I agree on the ban of the Fuzzy Navels...

Re: 2010 Auction?
So... For the auction this year, the somewhat mighty and eerily sexy JP69 will be providing the following for bidding on:
Multiple miniatures- Space marines, fantasy, special edition fig named "Gamer in Repose"
Some miniatures still in packing
An asian tea set (Scorpion Clan Colors) in honor of the L5R flavor on Sunday
And possibly some other crazy things I may come up with before then.

Oh, also have 3 sake bottles and some cards and stuff, too!
It's going to be a JP69 fueled swagfest!

Re: 2010 Auction?
I have an idea, but I want it to be taken as it is intended, and not as a slight.
JP's kickarse ringmail bag has served me very well this past long year between Brencons. While I do very much enjoy the badassery that it confers unto me at the gaming table, I can't help but think that it would be even cooler if it changed hands and returned to the auction table.
This not only gives someone else a shot at nigh-Chuck-Norris levels of unstoppability, but generates site revenue! The new owner is under no obligation to return the chainmail bag of allure next year, but I think it's a nifty idea nontheless!
Of course, if nobody ~wants~ the dice bag to return to the table, I fully understand. You'll feel differently when someone shanks your dice right through their pansy non-mail bag... but you can't say I didn't warn you.

Re: 2010 Auction?
seems like if we're gonna have an item that traditionally returns every year, it should be a raffle item and not an auction one.
