BC2010: Sleep? Who needs sleep!

I just signed up to spend Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Night at the Red Roof Inn at 590 Fairview St, Johnson City NY.

I booked it through Hotels.com at the rate or $45 a night for a 2 bed room... I'll be bringing some local cronies along, so instead of subject you fine folks to their unconfirmed sleepwalking, I'm going to put them up under close surveillance.

I booked my reservation through hotels.com (per Bren's recommendation). It rates 2 stars which means I'll have a bed to sleep in, and that amenities such as pools, exercise equipment, and fresh sheets can all be purchased from a guy named 'Lenny' in an unlicensed van in the parking lot.

Hmm... I thought 'Lenny' was only included with the 1-star hotels?

For those of you without vehicles or a means of conveyance that only includes your own two feet may not wish to book at the Red Roof Inn:

201 (other than the bridge across the water) is not something you'd want to walk along. There is a walkable route though if you don't mind the hike.

Yeah, yikes teh Red Roof isn't right there. I posted plenty of options within walking distance or on the same road (at the top of this page), but hey you have a car and don't mind a short drive, and Lenny.

Wayloss and Micro booked in a much closer hotel.

I guess price was an issue?

Yeah we wanted to be close, and well it looks to be all the "vactioning" we will be doing any time soon so the budget was right.
