Round 1 Initiative: Bear Warriors 3.1, Flint Striker 3.1, Polar Bear 3.0

Flint Striker moves forward and draws his hand ax as he does. He throws it over the head of one of the other Bear Warriors and the ax bites home in the ceiling of the tunnel, missing the large polar bear with the boney ridges too high.

Normally you can't really shoot trough foes, but since its large, I allow it.

The massive bear then begins to bellow in anger, it slams a paw on the side of the tunnel and cracks and breaks in the ice form like spiderwebs. Huge pieces of ice now fall from the ceiling, and parts of the tunnel behind you cave in completely! The wall sluffs in places, and then a massive chunk of ice falls crushing Burning Pine who is onyl a few steps behind Flint Striker. The ice strikes in in the head and chest, killing him and burying him instantly!

Round 2 Initiative: Bear Warriors 3.1, Flint Striker 3.1, Polar Bear 3.0

Broken Stone glances back, "Move forward!" He leaps forwad drawing a Tigerskull club and leaping to the attack, as he moves the bear takes a swing at him as he moves through its greater reach and takes a hit on his shoulder. The blow slows him down, but doesn't stop him from slamming his Tigerskull club into the bear's hip.

Broken Stone: Move/AoO 32 hit for 20 Dmg, Attack Bear: 21 hit for 9 Dmg

Grey Fox looks back, "Burning Pine is down, damn it!" He leaps forward to stay ahead of the tunnel breaking up and puts an arrow into the bear as he does so. His bone bow bending to his will to shoot the bear.

Grey Fox : Move/ Shoot Bear 19 Hit for 6 Dmg

The other two hunters move forward one of them draws a second javelin and holds it like a spear sticking the bear in the thigh, drawing some blood but not much. The other warrior slips around through his tribesmates and starts to get around to flank the bear while its distracted with the others.

His throwing axe flung wide and his comrades close enough to make a ranged shot chancy, Flint Striker hits upon a plan with more daring than cunning. Crouched into a low, defensive stance, he races towards the bear, ducking past Broken Stone, and attempts to roll between the legs of the pivoting bear. His objective is to place himself behind the monstrosity, the better to strike his where he is unprotected. A foolhardy plan, but in this moment perhaps fortune will favor this fool.

Action

Full defense, double move action to move 5 forward, through Broken Stone's square and attempt a tumble to move past the dire polar bear. Expending a use of dumb luck, which means this has a paltry 75% chance of failing. Here's hoping for a 15!

Round 2 Initiative: Bear Warriors 3.1, Flint Striker 3.1, Polar Bear 3.0

Flint Striker moves forward hoping to not get crushed by falling ice. He leaps forward and attempts to dive through the legs of the massive bear. He dives forward and connects with the boney leg of the bear and is knocked back behind his hunting party leader Broken Stone. Lucky for him the bear is pre occupied.

The bear continues to roar, and more and more pieces of the tunnel cave in. With a backhanded swing of its massive paw it connects with Sleeping Fox's face and snaps his head to the side so far and so hard that the man's head slams against the ice wall and caves in, killing the man instantlly. Crumpling to the ground Sleeping Fox is the second of the group to die. The bear then grabs hold of Broken Stone with another massive paw and pulls the man close. "Let me go!" he shouts as the bear's claw crushes his shoulder. With a massive bite the dire bear clamps down on his arm nearly biting right through it, breaking bone and mutilating it beyond use. Ice crashes to the tunnel floor all around, its only a mater of seconds before the whole place comes down on your heads.

Bear and Broken Stone Grappling

"Get out of here!" Broken stone has dropped his club and draws a stone knife from his belt and stabs the bear once in the arm with the primative weapon. "Go! Damn it, get out of here!" The hunting leader does his best to keep the polar bear distracted but it won't last long.

Grey Fox loads and fires again, the arrow hits a piece of falling ice, the shot 1 in a million. The stray arrow bouces on the ground when it lands with the ice and he leaps forward trying to get around the bear while Broken Stone has its distracted. "Listen to him! Move."

Grey Fox: Shoot: 9 Miss, Move No AoO Bear is Grappling

The last of the hunters moves around the bear, he stabs once with his javelin in the back of the bear, and draws some blood from the blow, but it will take far more than these little bites to bring down this beast.

Flint Striker is torn between loyalty and fear, but he knows that Broken Stone has set his fire and must now sleep by it. Running past the tangle of bear and man, he swings with all his might at the monster that has cost one Bear already and make yet take a second.

Flint Striker knows he needs to move, and Broken Stone has the beast distracted, long enough to get around behind it atleast. So he darts through the narrow opening and as he comes in behind the massive polar bear he chops into its leg. The blow is powerful, and a very large wound opens up, red spilling into the blue ice. The bear howls in pain, its startingto weaken finally.

Flint Move/Power Att (4) (2Handed): 23 Hit for 21 Dmg!

The bear howls and in a terrible rage it throws Broken Stone back into the tunnel. The mans body lands like a limp doll in the ice slamming against the fallen pieces of the tunnel's roof. With scream of anger the bear slams the tunnel wall and roars. It is the last time Flint Striker will hear that roar as it brings down the IceRock Pass roof. The entire glacier tunnel caves in on itself. Weak from the warmer weather, and unable to take the pounding of the dire polar bear the cave collapses. An avalance of snow and rock just consumes the entire pass. Bear Tribe Warriors begin screaming, and Flint Striker catches a look of true terror from Grey Fox's face the moment before the tumbling snow and ice sweeps the two men away. The bear is gone, the others are gone, and everything becomes a tumble of rock, ice, snow, and the tundra trees. Flint Striker ducks, and the avalanche of ice and snow grabs him up and sweeps him away along with the others. Things go black as he tumbles uncontrolled up and down through the haze of avalanche!

As darkness falls over Flint Striker, he has a moment of indignation that it would end like this, barely a man, the man practically a father to him dead and his fellows failed.

Never even got to kiss Telani...

And then there is blackness.

The last thoughts through Flint Striker's head are about Telani, the girl he's had a crush on for some time now. The avalache consumes his thoughts and breaks his body, all goes black...
