As battle is joined, Amundi again calls the forces of nature to his service. He looks towards the sky, raising his staff and uttering a few arcane passages. The clouds begin to roil and crackle with electricity.

From where he is at, Saeldur stomps to his right, Egbert and his steed, supported by Ovind and Lehros, take the center, and, with any luck, a few bolts of lightning will make short work of the Doviello ahead and to the left..

Round 1 Egbert 23.3, Lehros 22.5, Ovind 18.3, Slave Master: 18.0, Saeldur 9.4, Amundi 8.2, Flint 7.3, Doveillo 1.0
The Elk Shaman holds his staff into the air and begins to call on the power of the storm spirits. His arm and staff crackle with eletrical energy as he chants the prayers that will call down lightning to smite his foes. The storm above begins to swirl like a vortex of black clouds that forms high over head.

Round 1 Egbert 23.3, Lehros 22.5, Ovind 18.3, Slave Master: 18.0, Saeldur 9.4, Amundi 8.2, Flint 7.3, Doveillo 1.0

JW Combat Rule
Flint Striker charges forward with the others. His axe in hand he pumps his arms as he races over the snow zig zagging to avoid the ice. He draws up along side of Lehros, his axe held now in two hands.
Move/Move
Then the Doveillo move. They almost all swarm foward in some manner. The barbarians close up leap forward in a fenzy. They allow their rage to take hold and they leap in swinging. The lead crashes into Lehros, his massive greatclub connects with the slender anhel and shatter's his femur! The scout crumbles to the ground, his leg broken, his head flush with pain, he screams out in terrible pain as he is crippled!
Doveillo 2: Rage Move, Attack Lehros "20" (21 ) Cirtical Hit for 25 Dmg! Lehros @ 4 Hps!
The other two nearer Doveillo charge Egbert, and leap in at him on his mount. One of the two charging enemies connects with its club as well. The blow strikes his ankle and does serious harm to the bones there, but the blow is turned away slightly, as Egbert moves to absorb the blow. As he moves the second swing misses, and he avoids getting hit with both attacks.
Doviello 4: Rage Move, Attack Egbert 15 Miss
Doviello 5: Rage Charge Egbert 23 Hit for 15 Dmg!
Three more Doveillo move through the icy area of their camp and draw large bonebows from their back. Setting small spear like weapons the strings they draw and fire into the air. All of them are pointing and shouting about the massive walking tree, and so focus their fire on the easy target. The three arrows are lost in Saeldur's branches, deflected from doing him harm, bouncing off his thick barky hide.
Doviello: 6 Move/Shoot Saeldur 22 Miss
7 Move/Shoot Saeldur 9 Miss
8 Move/Shoot Saeldur 19 Miss
The three doveillo that just killed some random Elk to the west turn and charge toward the battle closing much of the distance they had between the groups.
Doveillo: 9,10,11: Move/Move
Round 2 Egbert 23.3, Lehros 22.5, Ovind 18.3, Slave Master: 18.0, Saeldur 9.4, Amundi 8.2, Flint 7.3, Doveillo 1.0
Egbert and Lehros, both wounded and both in melee...

Egbert is silent now, his sword slashing right and left, striking out at the barbarians near him, and Knut also does his best to trample them down and kill them.
This time, I want to try to get my cleave in, so Egbert and Knut are doing a full attack on the two doviello in the following order (if possible):
We will first attack the one who hit Egbert last round. As soon as this one falls, move the attacks to the second one.
1) Knut: 2 Hooves +2, (1d4+2)
2) Egbert: Full attack with Power attack +2/-2 and the +1 from higher ground)
3) Knut: Gore +6 (1d8+4), Grab, Toss
4) As soon as the first one falls, Egbert cleaves into the other (again +2/-2 PA and +1 higher ground).

Giant Slave Master: Round 2

Post by Vardaen » Fri May 14, 2010 6:59 pm

Round 2 Egbert 23.3, Lehros 22.5, Ovind 18.3, Slave Master: 18.0, Saeldur 9.4, Amundi 8.2, Flint 7.3, Doveillo 1.0
Egbert and Knut work in tandem, the bratha under Egbert lashes out with its hooves attempting to trample the wild barbarian before him. One of the hooves connects, knocking the man off balance slightly. Knocked off balance is just what Egbert need. He takes a long sweeping stroke that cleaves the Doveillo's head from his shoulders! The bastard sword continues to sweep acrss the field and slices into into the top of the head of the other enemy before him. Slicing off the crown of the barbarian's head in one clean stroke Egbert kicks the standing man knocking his dead corpse over. No other foes are within reach of the Mammoth Paladin.
Egbert: Full Attack: Higher Ground/Power Attack (2) 31 Hit for 13 Dmg, DEAD [Cleave: "19" (Crit: 26) Critical Hit for 29 DEAD]

Knutt: Full Attack: 11 / 19 Hit for 3 Dmg, Rest Lost.

NICE
Lehros...
Just remove #4, and #5, they are dead.

Round 2 Egbert 23.3, Lehros 22.5, Ovind 18.3, Slave Master: 18.0, Saeldur 9.4, Amundi 8.2, Flint 7.3, Doveillo 1.0

OKay: Para isn't quite back yet, so posting for her.
Lehros quickly falls back under the attack from the Doviello. He tumbles out of the way just a few feet and loads his bow with a stone arrow, at point blank he should be able to strike easily enough. Two shots fly into the chest of the raging barbarian. They sink deeply into his flesh, but still don't manage to kill the battle frenzied barbarian. Likely his bloodlust is all that is keeping him standing after those two good solid shots.
Lehros: 5ft S, Rapid Shot D2: (Bone Arrows/Point Blank) 24 hit for 6 Dmg/ 18 Hit for 9 Dmg = 15 Dmg
Ovind...

Øvind's summoned weapon of Junil continues its assault upon the jailer. Stabbing at the giant creature over and over again.

As she gets closer, she rears back and throws her boomerang as hard as she can. The distance is great, but she hurls the weapon in the direction of the jailer, hoping it will hit the mark.

Throw Boomerang vs. Jailer
Probably some range penalties.

Round 2 Egbert 23.3, Lehros 22.5, Ovind 18.3, Slave Master: 18.0, Saeldur 9.4, Amundi 8.2, Flint 7.3, Doveillo 1.0
Øvind moves forward even as the Spear of Junil gives chase to the Slavemaster giant. The weapon rises into the air and stabs into the shoulder blades of the massive beast punching into flesh and bone. The Sabertooth warrior woman moves up and then launches her heavy boomerang into the air, the weapon catches a strange cold draft and swoops down, it misses the giant, and comes back around toward Øvind to her left, but the wind throws the weapon way off course and with a *SMACK* the wooden stike strikes Knut right in the muzzle! The brata bucks in suprise and shock, and while its lip is now bleeding it was a rather light strike, the weapon falls to the ice.
Ovind Move 20/ Boomerang Slavemaster (Range 45ft: -4): "1" (Fumble: 19) Fumble - Critical Fumble Deck: "Not My Pony!" Your Attack Hits the Nearest Allied Animal or Mount - Knut: 3 Dmg! Boomerang Drops

Ovind: Spirit Weapon: Move/ Attack: 22 Hit for 9 Dmg!
The giant of a barbarian grabs up another rock from the broken terrain he's standing on and hurls it at Øvind. It is her prayer that's caused the spirutal spear to be attacking him, and she just through some stick at him with rather humors results. The Slavemaster bellows, "More puny Amrights come to be my prisoners? Good, Grunk love more prisoners!" The rock is lobbed into the air and comes down right on target. The Sabertooth woman tries to duck but the rock is moving faster than she thought. The stone strikes her on the shoulder and chest and careens off into the snow to her left, basically dislocating her shoulder from the impact!
Slavemaster: Throw Rock Ovind: 21 Hit for 18 Dmg!

"So tiny," Saeldur muses in his deep voice as he looks down at the others. "Must be careful." Then he lifts his big root-like feet over his friends. "But not with this one," he adds as he reaches the first of the enemy. "You deserve a root to the head!" With that, he brings his large foot down on top of the Doviello warrior.

Trample (Ex): As a full-round action, a creature with this special attack can move up to twice its speed and literally run over any opponents at least one size category smaller than itself. The creature merely has to move over the opponents in its path; any creature whose space is completely covered by the trampling creature's space is subject to the trample attack. If a target's space is larger than 5 feet, it is only considered trampled if the trampling creature moves over all the squares it occupies. If the trampling creature moves over only some of a target's space, the target can make an attack of opportunity against the trampling creature at a -4 penalty. A trampling creature that accidentally ends its movement in an illegal space returns to the last legal position it occupied, or the closest legal position, if there's a legal position that's closer.

Trampled opponents can attempt attacks of opportunity, but these take a -4 penalty. If they do not make attacks of opportunity, trampled opponents can attempt Reflex saves to take half damage. The save DC the trample attack is 22. A trampling creature can only deal trampling damage to each target once per round, no matter how many times its movement takes it over a target creature.

Round 2 Egbert 23.3, Lehros 22.5, Ovind 18.3, Slave Master: 18.0, Saeldur 9.4, Amundi 8.2, Flint 7.3, Doveillo 1.0
Saeldur grumbles to himself in that low tone of the treant. The elf-tree then starts marching forward. Careful to not step on the others he walks over them, letting them fight in the shade of his leaves for a moment. Heavy rooted foot slam into the snow and then into one of the Doveillo enemies. The huge trees 'foot' simply drives the man down into the snow, smushing him flat, and causing his body to burst open spraying blood all over. Parts are embedded into the snow and covered in quickly freezing blood. Saeldur keeps on moving toward the slaves almost taking notice in his movement.
