Round Egbert 23.3, Lehros 22.5, Ovind 18.3, Slave Master: 18.0, Saeldur 9.4, Amundi 8.2, Flint 7.3, Doveillo 1.0
Saeldur booms his voice across the open snow and ice and with a cracking of wood swings at the giant. His first leafy fist swings high, over the head of the giant, as he doesn't quite have his depth perception down at this size. But he compensates with a second fist, and hammers from high to low and bashes the giant with his woody hand, and rakes with the branches of his fingers. The blow hits the giant right in the skull, luckily not a vital organ for giants, and rings the enemy's bell for a moment.
Saeldur: Full Attack Giant: 13 Miss, 29 Hit for 19 Dmg
Amundi...

As the Doviello sweep in on the party's flank, Amundi tries to thin their number some more. With his concentration on the nearest savage, he reaches to the heavens, calling down a bolt of lightning unto his head after running a short distance through the snow.

He immediately looks towards Flint, sizing up other targets for his stormy assault...

Round 3 Egbert 23.3, Lehros 22.5, Ovind 18.3, Slave Master: 18.0, Saeldur 9.4, Amundi 8.2, Flint 7.3, Doveillo 1.0
Amundi is facing a Doveillo, and he reaches into the sky and calls down a bolt of lightning. The Doveillo barbarian doddges to the side, and as a result only takes half the blast on his body. The bolt burns him badly, but in his battle rage the barbarian doesn't drop. Amundi then wisely tries to run away, however he does so by turning his back to the enemy. No one to fight fair the barbarian swings his club into Amundi's back sending the shaman staggering forward through the snow. Howling with rage the Doviello is overly proud of himself.
Amundi: Call Lightning D9: Ref Save 22! Save For: 9 Dmg , Move [AoO: D9: 25 Hit for 13 Dmg]

Few things here Bo, first please clearly ID which enemy you want to hit, I post maps with numbered foes for a reason, thanks!

Also remember in d20 when you leave a threatened square you invoke and Attack of Opportunity, unless that movement is a "5ft step" action.

This might be helpful for you as I know you are newist to d20

I edited Amundi's move to account for the ice.

Round 3Egbert 23.3, Lehros 22.5, Ovind 18.3, Slave Master: 18.0, Saeldur 9.4, Amundi 8.2, Flint 7.3, Doveillo 1.0
Flint Striker stands his ground and with a powerful strike hacks into the Doveillo before him. Dawn Flash hacks the man's arm clean off at the shoulder sending the raging barbarian staggering backwards as he spins in a circle a few seconds before collapsing into the snow very much dead. Flint hacks into he other man next to him, already burnt from a lightning flash, the Bear Warrior has no trouble hacking a fatal chop into the gut of the Doveillo killing that one as well. He then takes a step toward the other one.
Flint: Full Attack D10 Power Attack (1): "20" (Critical: 28) Critical Hit for 22 Dmg, DEAD, vs D11 15 Hit for 11 Dmg, DEAD, 5ft Step.

FYI I am using the Crit and Fumble decks, but if the Crit kills its foe outright I'm not bothering.
The three last Doviello continue to fight on till the death. Two of them attack Egbert and Flint. Their are in a blind rage at this point swinging wildly with their big clubs. Egbert dodges back on Knutt while Flint parries with his axe easily enough. A third Doveillo starts to stand up after being tossed off Knutt's horn. It struggles in the snow and Saeldur reaches over and flattens him back down into the snow. Like a hammer driving a nail, the massive treant form of Saeldur just drives the man's head down into his torso with a "Harrrum".
Doveillo 7: Stand, [AoO Saeldur: "20" (Crit: 12 vs ff) Critical Hit for 17 Dmg, DEAD]
#8 Attack Egbert 18 Miss
#8 Attack Flint 15 Miss

Knut casts a fierce glance at the Doviello pestering Egbert and snarls, it sounds more like a fierce wolf than a Branta, but Knut is definitely angry now, he attacks the barbarian with his horns and hooves, trying to move him out of the way or kill him outright.

Egbert is not one to back down just because he is injured. He knows the slave master must be taken down and that he can help Saeldur do it. On Knut, he moves closer to the giant and lashes out with his sword twice. His face is dusty and bloody and he grunts grimly as the blows connect, either with the giant's internal organs or his armor.
5' step east.
Knut: Full attack on Doviello:
Full Attack: Gore +6 Melee (1d8+4), 2 Hooves +2 Melee (1d4+2), improved grab, toss.
Egbert: Full attack on the Slave Master, +1/-1 power attack.

Slavemaster: Round 4

Post by Vardaen » Thu May 27, 2010 7:06 pm

Round 4 Egbert 23.3, Lehros 22.5, Ovind 18.3, Slave Master: 18.0, Saeldur 9.4, Amundi 8.2, Flint 7.3, Doveillo 1.0
Egbert moves Knut to the east so he can reach the giant up on the rocky rise. The branta slams its nose horn into the last Doveillo in the area and spits the man on it the boney horn, the single antler sticks out of the man's back as he's hit in the gut. With a shake of its head Knut sends the dead man flying up over Egbert to land with a crack on the ice behind him. The beast then rears up and tries to hoof the giant, but can't reach the thing where it is on the rocks. Egbert however sits a bit higher, and with a powerful two handed strike slices open a serious wound on the leg of the slavemaster just under its knee. The wound bleeds fairly good, and Egbert tries to backhand the slavemaster again in the same area but the giant is ready for the attack and he blocks the blow with his tree limb greatclub with a *clash*. "Puny man! That be last time you hurt me!"
Knut: 5ft, Full Attack Doveillo: "20" (Critical: 18) Critical Hit for 13 Dmg, DEAD, vs Giant 19 Miss, 12 Miss
Egbert: Power Att(1) Giant: 24 Hit for 13 Dmg, 17 Miss

Lehros moves a little further towards the giant to get past his half sister, putting one of the stone arrows on the string. He takes aim at the behemoth and lets the arrow fly...

Round 4 Egbert 23.3, Lehros 22.5, Ovind 18.3, Slave Master: 18.0, Saeldur 9.4, Amundi 8.2, Flint 7.3, Doveillo 1.0
Lehros darts through the snow leaving barely any footprints with his light steps. He knocks a single arrow and takes aim at the behemoth and lets the arrow fly. The stone tipped arrow flies true on target and then strikes the slavemaster's hide armor and is deflected to the side unable to bite through the giant's coarse armor and hide.
Lehros: Move, Shoot Giant: 16 Miss (Stone Arrow)
Ovind, hearing the shouts of some nearby slaves...

Giant Struggle Over!

Post by Vardaen » Fri May 28, 2010 8:04 pm

Round 4 Egbert 23.3, Lehros 22.5, Ovind 18.3, Slave Master: 18.0, Saeldur 9.4, Amundi 8.2, Flint 7.3, Doveillo 1.0
Ovind charges forward, and leaps at the rocky outcroping with both hands. She makes the climb up the side of the rocks in a matter of moments and skirts around the giant staying out of its reach for the moment looking for a second to duck in under its reach. Her spiritual weapon strikes again, this time piercing the cheak of the massive slavemaser! The spear of Junil stabs into the face of the giant for a serious wound that ruptures its blood vessels there and causes him to bleed and bleed and bleed. The giant is looking weak but he's too dumb to know when he's beat.
Ovind: Move Climg 15 vs DC 15 Success /Move, Spirit Weapon: "20" (Crit: "20") Max Critical: 18 Dmg + "Cheak Pierced!" 1d4 (1) Bleed, 50% Spell Failures
The slavemaster keeps on target, and that target is the man with the sword within reach. It swings once at Egbert, but the paladin ducks the blow, however with a heaving second attack of his club, the giant slams it down into Egbert's head shattering his helm and sending him crashing to the ground off of Knut's back. Egbert's head snaps around and he crashing hard into the ice everything goign black for him as the taste of blood fills his senses as he bleeds into his brain from the crippling and possibly fatal blow!
Slavemaster: Attack Egbert: 18 Miss / 21 Hit for 21 Dmg! Egbert @ -2!!! Falls off Knut
Saeldur knows he need to focus on the Giant, and kill it and kill it now. "Haaarooom!" The treant slams a woody hand into the throat of the giant and then does something no one would winth possible, he lifts the giant up off the ground. Grabbing with a second hand Saeldur chokes and shakes the slavemaster, "Dooom-roomo tooo youoo." There is a very loud sickening *CRACK* as the giant's neck is snapped, and Saeldur tosses the giant down into the rocks and ice very much dead.
Saeldur: Full Attack Giant: 27 Hit for 16 Dmg, Dead
With only one foe left, but with Egbert bleeding into his brain Amundi...

In the mean time Flint Striker swings his axe around and lops the head off the last of the foes killing the final barbarian behind the rest of you.
Combat is over! Great job. However you have a bleeding Egbert before you. Amundi and Ovind both need 1 round to get to him bringing his HPs to -3 before someone can heal him. Bo since Tet is out I think it falls to Amundi to heal the Mammoth Paladin.

"Over here," Saeldur booms in his deep treant voice. "Egbert is down and needs help." The transformed wizard then gets out of the way and guards the area around Egbert to keep any other Doviello from threatening the downed paladin.
