Lehros moves back bringing his bow up and firing a stone arrow into the creature as it forms.

Move N-N-N for skirmish bonus and shoot with stone arrows at the creature.

Round 1 Lehros 14, Saeldur 13, Egbert 8, Ovind 8, Amundi 6, White Puddings 0

This is our last D&D 3.5 fight for the game enjoy. I'll be double editing sheets, ie Lehros' arrow.
Lehros slides back along the ice, skating easily out of reach of the still forming pudding. His bow fires off a shot that rips right through the center of the ooze. The arrow however has a strange effect on the forming pudding, as it rips through it it causes the pudding to split and tear itself into two forms, both equally as terrifying as the first!

Saeldur shouts a warning about it being an ooze, but you watch the wooden shaft of Lehros' arrow dissolve into nothing as it is eaten away by acid. He summons a burst of fire, it covers both forming oozes and melts them only slightly causing black patches of soot to form on the otherwise pure white bodies.
Lehros: Move, Shoot (stone) Pudding: 14 Hit - Pudding Splits into Two!
Saeldur: Fiery Burst (Hits Both) : Ref DC 19: #1: 5 Fail, #2: 10 Fail = Both Take 7 Dmg (Wow Terrible Roll, 3,1,1,2)
Egbert and Ovind...

I totally knew Saeldur was close to Egbert. I adjusted map to show it.

Egbert activates his helmet. Oroshar's eye opens and spits fire at the creatures. Then he takes a step back.
Activate Helm to hit both blobs. Then 5' sw.

What Lies Within: Round 2

Post by Vardaen » Mon Nov 07, 2011 9:31 pm

Round 1 Lehros 14, Saeldur 13, Egbert 8, Ovind 8, Amundi 6, White Pudding 0

Phlale is still away.
Egbert touches his helm, a flaming ray of fire strikes out in a powerful line that smotes the two puddings. The fire burns then and bubbles them like some stew in a pot, but it isn't enough to end them, not yet. He then takes the chance to backpeddle out of the way, almost using Saeldur as a shield.

Ovind, arm glowing, spell prepaired before the attack, unleashes a ray of fiery light at one of the puddings. It burns and melts some of it away continueing what Egbert started. She then also slips and slides backwards on the ice.

Amundi backs up as well, he hopes this works. "This isn't what I was expecting at all!" He points at the first pudding, the wounded one, and slams a blast of lighting into it. The electricity scorches the pudding where it connects leaving a nice burned hole in the middle of it.

Then the puddings attack, one north one south. Ovind dodges out of reach of the puddings amorphus appendage just bare, just barely avoiding the dripping acid of the creature.

Amundi comes under attack in the north, and the Elk Shaman he grabs up in the puddings reaching arm. It wraps its white mass around him and instantly begins to squeeze and burn him. "Arrrghahahg!" Amundi is screaming in pain, his fur clothing is burned away by the acid almost instantly, then his armor begins to give way, and in seconds the ancient leaf weave armor of the Anhel is gone! Vanished into a dripping mass of acid covered leaves. Amundi struggles and suffers broken bones and burning acid marks all over his body as he's held in the grip of the white pudding.
Egbert: Helm: Ref Saves: 8, 8 FAIL (Can't be blinded): Damage: 9 Dmg, Move
Ovind: Release: Nimbus of Light (Cast during buff phases): Ranged Touch #1: 18 Hit for 9 Dmg, Move

Pudding #2: Move, Attack Ovind: 20 Miss
Round 2 Lehros 14, Saeldur 13, Egbert 8, Ovind 8, Amundi 6, White Pudding 0

Pudding #1 is badly hurt, #2 is lightly hurt.
The group...

"No!" Saeldur cries, not prepared to see yet another child of Kylorin die. He holds the Eye of Orashar high and calls forth its power. Immediately, a tiny ball of fire appears and flies toward the two puddings, exploding on the far side of the room, and burning them both.
Standard Ation: Sacrifice Shrink Item for 8d6 Fireball with Eye of Orashar (DC 18 Ref save for half) as shown below.
If the puddings are split before he goes, try and get the most I can in the blast without getting any CoK.

No More Pudding

Post by Vardaen » Mon Nov 07, 2011 11:00 pm

Round 1 Lehros 14, Saeldur 13, Egbert 8, Ovind 8, Amundi 6, White Pudding 0
Saeldur cries out, "No!" He watches a rare relic of his people turn into pudding before his eyes. He also watches yet another Children of Kylorin nearly die under his charge. He can not handle that, he will not handle that, he will not allow that. Holding up the eye of the dragon Oroshar, the massive red ruby glows bright and with a blast of flame Saeldur fills the chamber with a fiery ball. The blast burns up books, lab quipment, tables and other debris, it melts the piles of snow into water that will turn to ice, and it totally and completely vaporizes the two white puddings. All that remains is a thin layer of white dust and soot. Amundi is dropped to the ground coughing and moaning in pain and distress, but the enemies, the puddings are no more.
Saeldur: Eye of Oorshar: Fireball: Ref Saves: 1 and 3: both Fail: 8d6 = 36 Dmg to Both Both DEAD

Saeldur rushes forward - or as much as he can on the ice - grabbing a healing potion from his satchel. "Are you okay," he says. "Do you need a potion?"
CMW potion if it comes to that. I haven't marked it off since I'm not sure if he'll need it.

Amundi lays there, his skin crawling, he lays nearly naked on the blue ice and starts to shiver, even with his magical protections the touch of the ice is chilling. Amundi waves off the potion, and calls on his spirit guides to heal himself with spell and prayer first. "I... I... will survive."

"By Arawn! That blast of fire was like hades brought to bare Saeldur! Brother are you okay?"

Lehros rushes over Amundi to see if he can help and covers him with his furs.
