Egbert also looks for interesting possessions the seers might have had on their person or at the place they came out of.

The dead are... well they are confirmed dead. Ronk makes no bones about it, he wants the Seer's heads and he takes them. One by one they are decapitated and their bodies are defiled. They will not rest easy in the next life. Ovind, Egbert and Saeldur see to the stripping of the corpses of anything of value and magic. The ruins are then explored. For the most part the ancient dwarven complex has held up pretty nicely, but eventually all things give into the winter. Holes in the walls and ceilings are a plenty. They chambers are kept as private quarters for the Seers and Charadon when he was here. You explore the chambers, mostly barracks and shrines to Mulcarn (which you pull down and destroy). Some additional loot is collected from there, along with supplies such as food and camping gear.

Ovind is satisfied with the vengeance they have wreaked. "Now the souls of our brothers and sisters may rest easy. May they move on to their eternal reward with gladness." She moves on to their surviving allies, dealing with their wounds.

Egbert helps search the compound and is amongst those who topple the altar of Mulcarn. He looks through the loot and a piece of armor catches his eye. But first he helps the Snowmask with their wounded and asks: "And where was the entrance to these mountain elves again?"

"The entrance to the the tunnels is right here," Saeldur replies. "If you recall, we passed this way before. From here it's only a short distance underground to get to the Nomanhel chambers."

Ronk remains mostly silent. His anger had satiated over the seers. The barbarian seems a bit at the loss for words now that they had killed the seers responsible for the completely destruction of his tribe and family. Thinking back to his wife and child, the large man wipes away the blood and dirt from his eyes as he continues to stare over the decapitated bodies of the seers.
Finally, the man walks over to Brundaar and places his hand on the warrior's shoulder. "Thank you." He says as he turns and walks to join his half-siblings and new tribe for their next task.

To the Nomanhel
Brundaar nods silently to Ronk, he's known that look in a man far too many times. The leader of the Snowmask turns to the others, "We shall remain here for some time. When you are done down there, join us for a feast and if you so desire, we have many men and women of age who would be honored to share their bloodline with yours." That's his way of offering his tribesmen and women for marriage. A small tribe like this can't survive without new blood and new babies after all.
Ovind and Egbert help the wounded and go about the camps for an hour or more until its clear things are stable among the Snowmask. Attention turns to the small stone building on the east side of camp, a crypt. Inside there the passage leads down back to the Nomhel.

To the Nomanhel
Saeldur makes his farewells to the Snowmask, but is eager to move forward. They hold the fate of fully one third of the Anhel peoples in their hands. He does not want to delay the Nomanhel redemption any longer.

To the Nomanhel
Egbert walks along with Saeldur, looking out for trouble. He covered in many wounds, most of them from lightning. "Ovind, do you think you could heal me a bit? Or I could ask for Lugus's help."

To the Nomanhel
Ovind offers what healing she can, socializing with their friends. While she does feel the urge to bed a few of the Snowmask, she can hardly afford a pregnancy during their quest. Who knows how long it will take before Mulcarn is defeated? It could be years, or an endless duration. Others will have to take up the task of creating and rearing the next generation of tribesmen.
