Gelan runs along with Dal, "And be careful! There is something /else/ in there!" Gelan then turns immediately, rushing the opposite direction toward Durnic's shop next door.

Dal turns to Gelan, 'œGo get some buckets of water and wake the others. We don't want this fire jumping to the other buildings.'

The young man then continues on running hoping to get there and help Chaster and whatever else is inside escape the flames. '˜I wonder if the soup caused this. Nah, its always too cold and never hot enough that he'd ever use a flame.'

Gelan is fast, and runs off before Dal can even say anything to him, so he yells it. By the time Dal runs all the way up the road, Gelan enters Durnic's shop, exits with Durnic following, and spots the blacksmith enter the inn. Dal, out of breath, finally reaches the outside of the inn slightly behind Durnic.

Standing outside the burning Inn, Dal moves forward and opens the door. He shouts, 'œAnyone here?' He moves into the Inn slowly hoping not to find anyone, but also staying cautious of his movements not wanting to be trapped in here by the fire. 'œChaster! Where are you?!'

Dal walks into the inn and yells, as soon as he does, he spots Durnic standing a few feet in front of him. The upstairs seems to be burning, from the smoke drifting from upstairs.

Dal and Dunstan leave the inn. Dunstan takes his place in front of the door with his axe. He is not going to let anyone but Dal back in. The fisherman knows where he last saw a wagon, down the road, in front of Kygar's house. Kygar is a local merchant, sort of, who has actually been importing wood. He has a small operation in the southern groves to fell trees. He has pretty much not allowed any other lumberjacks to work there except those that work for him. Just as Dal remember, the wagon is outside, unattended. The streets are once again unattended as the threat of the fire has subsided.

Dal stares at the wagon for a moment and ponders, '˜He's asleep. I'll let Durnic and Chaster deal with him tomorrow.' He considers that the town's blacksmith and innkeeper would have fairly good relations with Kygar seeing that they are all merchants of some sorts in the small community. He moves to grab ahold of the wagon and pull it down the street towards the inn.

Dal simply walks over to the wagon, grabs the reigns of the mules, and pulls them toward Durnic's shop. He finds no resistance to his, and figures that Durnic and Kygar can work it out. Dunstan is still standing outside.

Dal waves to the lumberjack as he passes by the front of the inn. He brings the wagon to the front of the inn and makes his way to the door. Dal plans on alerting Durnic and Chaster that he has returned and hopefully, they will have the corpse loaded onto the wagon for removal from the city.

Dal reenters the inn, leaving the wagon and horses outside.
