How are you liking the game so far?
How is your grasp of the game coming along so far? How much fun are you having? Any other thoughts?
I am planning to let everyone either make new characters or keep the pregens when you level up, which will most likely be during the adventure itself.

I kind of like the idea of everyone having powers. I have'nt yet looked at it in detail but its good so far. I just guess everyone starts out as a kind of superhero.

So far I like it.
I can see, though, that they've worked hard to even out the wizard class. It's much more effective at these low levels. But I can see that this is made up for at the higher levels, where they cut back on some of the excesses of the class.
In the end I think it's a good thing. But it's still going to be a shock for anyone used to playing mid-level or high-level wizards.
Of course no matter how you try and adjust class balance, someone's going to get bent out of shape when their favorite class loses power. Just look at all the kvetching that goes on about nerfing when an online game adjusts class power.

What I really hate is everyone can heal. Healing surges I do not like at all.

I think healing is elegant in the game. I like how every aspect of healing is covered by a surge.
The only thing I dislike about healing is that you get all of your HP back after a night's sleep.

Re: How are you liking the game so far?
Actually, I kind of like that part.
I guess I've played too many cleric types where I never got to cast any spells but healing spells. It sometimes feels as if all you are is a big band aid box, and you're losing out on a whole portion of your character just because people need to be healed.
And Durkon Agrees!
So I kind of like the fact that healing is spread out among the characters.

Right now, I guess there are lots of things I don't like about the game. Guess I will wait and see.

I kinda like the healing part, but I don't like the names of health/hit points, etc.
When I read that in the books, I thought it was a "second wind" instead of a health surge, but due to terminology (and simplicity) they kept it with a heal surge. If you think of 4th ed HP as VP, then the second wind makes a little more sense.

As far as the game goes, so far, I kinda like 4th ed. I would get confused with all of the feats in 3/3.5, this will take some time to learn, but overall I kinda like the different attacks/feats. It makes it easier for char gen and combat and frees up time for RP.
