Space For Everyone

Commerce City, glorious American beacon of business and model metropolis for the world, is under the constant threat of supervillains. The police are either too helpless, incompetent, or smart to oppose the dastardly madmen (and madwomen) that would unleash havoc on the lives of the millions of commuters that call the city their home. Are there any heroes that will heed the call and defend Commerce City for free.

To this rockbodaceous beat, the avengers from Earth and their green compatriots march! To Whiskey Lake and the occupied Pool Hall.

On the way the three new Green Tables introduce themselves.

"Hello," says the first. "My name is Wan."

"I'm Tuo," says the second.

"My name is Terry," says the third.

Looking closely the heroes of Hotstuff are surprised to see the three are two dimensional beings, barely an inch thick. They appear to be made of corrugated cardboard.

"They're Cardboardians," explains Quizno. "A brave alien race. We have to watch out for their safety, they often accompany missions merely to die as an example of how dangerous the villain is."

"Fellow Cardboardians, we go to war! Put on your battle shirts!" says Wan.

The three aliens pull on red t-shirts over their Green Table uniforms.

Billiards is happy to marching to battle with more men who wield the power of the Greentables, he is learning to like these men. He considers the situation and replies to Charade and Butcher as he jams out to The Spark, "Yeah, plus if we can get them angry at one another, maybe insult their mothers or something."

Then the Red Shirts are put on, and Billiards Boy hangs his head, "Oh well," he pokes The Spark, "Atleast we'll have a few extra seconds." He makes his stick ready, his balls in his hands playing with all three he marches to war.

The Butcher raises an eyebrow at the shirts of the Cardboardians - red with green? It's not Solsticetide for months!

His eyes alert, he scans the horizon for incoming Foreheads.

PLOT! You're at Whiskey Lake. Let me describe it, for that is my role.

The jungle thins out, leaving a thin beach of purple sand. A vast brown lake, ringed with mountains and jungle, stretches out before you. It's at least two or three miles wide.

In the distance you can see a small island with a tiny building on it - the Pool Hall is likely the size of Notre Dame though based on how far it is. You can barely make it out from here.

There are car-sized things floating in the water one every few yards, giant white cubes. In a shock you realize they're ice!

"Whiskey Lake is on the rocks," explains Quizno.

Billiards laughs, "No wonder you folks never leave here!" He steps forward and looks across the lake, "What's the best way to attack this place? From a far beach, or across the 'rocks'?"

The Butcher shakes his head. Normally a fan of dry white wines, the idea of a huge lake of Whiskey is in no small part distasteful. He can only hope that the Foreheads have partaken so drastically that their warrior's savvy will be impaired.

"We use submersibles to cross the lake beneath the ice cubes, on the rare occasion it's necessarily. Normally when we leave the island it's spacebound. Unfortunately it looks like the Foreheads destroyed the docks after we escaped."

A few yards away there's the burnt remnants of the docks. Caught in the shallows are pieces of debris from the ruins of several small high-tech submarines.

"All my subs are toasted," says Quizno sadly.

"Hey Billiards!, " Charade says eying the intoxicating waters, "maybe we should find something else for those guys to do - it's too much...." she indicates Brave and Boozehound straggeling behind. "This could get out of control fast!"

Billiards is about to laugh at Quizno when he realizes what Charade has said. "Oh now! Boozehound! Get him out of here!" He hurries forward to stop Boozehound from seeing the lake full of...booze, not sure what would happen if the two meet!

The Spark also hurries towards Booze and helps BB restrain him.
