Space For Everyone

Commerce City, glorious American beacon of business and model metropolis for the world, is under the constant threat of supervillains. The police are either too helpless, incompetent, or smart to oppose the dastardly madmen (and madwomen) that would unleash havoc on the lives of the millions of commuters that call the city their home. Are there any heroes that will heed the call and defend Commerce City for free.

"Well, now that we know we have plenty of foes to fight and justice to dishout, lets get ready to attack HQ and save the day here on this far away planet where we will get no positive press for it." He shakes his head a bit sad, And probably no ladies either. He sighs and then turns to Quizno, "When do we set out, and where are we going? We are ready to win the day, Bat'thducks or not! These Foreheads will loose."

"What are the Foreheads Weaknesses? Sunburn? Wrinkles?" Charade asks sarcastically.

Quizno ponders this. "Foreheads strongly believe in honorable warfare. So if you challenge one to single combat they might accept. Perhaps superpowers could overcome military prowess...might be close though."

No Scratch Slim butts in. "There's also that dictionary of theirs."

Quizno nods. "Oh yeah. They very strongly believe in speaking in Holdon, a made up language that's much less convenient and far nerdier than English. So sometimes they have to consult their English-Holdon dictionaries when speaking to one another. So if you need to buy time getting two Foreheads to talk to another is a great stalling mechanism."

"Fascinating. No doubt these foes shall be simple to defeat!"

The man known at night in the pool halls as Billy Scratch, but as Billiards Boy during the day smacks himself in the forehead. "What about that move? That hurts alot if you do it right."

"Butcher, do you have any guess what you could say to keep those Forehead's talking to each other?" Charade asks.

You can keep discussing strategy. I'm going to start moving us to the Pool Hall, the GT building on an island in the middle of Whiskey Lake. That is where the Table and the Forehead invaders both reside. There are many ways to defeat the Foreheads, and you will be able to pick between combat, diplomacy, guile, or anything else you think up.
"All right, time to go to battle!" says No Scratch. "Green Tables, ASSEMBLE!"

A large crowd of 60 GTs assembles. "OK," says No Scratch, "Which of youse guys know how to fight? And which have only been practicing pool?"

57 GTs raise their hands.

"Great!" exclaims No Scratch. "Wait, are you the first or the second group?"

"Which was first?" asks a GT.

"Fighting," responds No Scratch.

"Oh, I'm just pool," responds the guy to a widespread murmur of agreement.

"Fine. Fighting. Which of you know how to fight?" says No Scratch, very exasperated.

Three GTs raise their hands, and Quizno.

"Great, you four will go with the alien superheroes and battle the Foreheads. I'll stay here and coordinate," says No Scratch.

"Raising a controversial issue often helps. Open-ended questions, ambiguous phrasing, that sort of thing. Spark their passions and things will really get interpersonal!"

Usually abhorring the use of violence, the Butcher is glad to offer a less-vicious form of confrontation.

The three battle-ready Green Tables shuffle over to HOTSTUFF and Quizno. Superheroes plus four Green Tables (or possibly superheroes including one Green Table plus an additional four Green Tables depending what you consider Billiards Boy) seems like a potent force.

The Spark is silent and tries to impress everyone with his guitar playing. He plays, again, Hightway to Hell.
