Re: Book One: At the Sign of the Prancing Pony
Realizing that he has no chance of catching the climbing man Velethahl drops to the ground and watches the man finish his climb. Velethahl takes a quick glimpse around to see if anyone may be observing the chase. He would love to pull his bow out, but decides such an act could easily get him kicked out of the city or worse. With any luck Velethahl may be able to continue following the man from the ground.

Gorin looks down at his hammer as he runs after the man, thinking for a moment he'd throw it, but stops realizing the distance is too much for a weapon that large. Damn people runnin', can't he just sit still so I can smack 'em once...
Knowing the man will try going over the wall he tries to wedge the weapon between his backpack, and himself as he runs after the man. hoping he won't be as skilled a climber as he is.

Re: Book One: At the Sign of the Prancing Pony
* Velethahl follows easily as the man climbs to the roof and quickly runs east, balancing and sliding on the thatched roof. Suddenly, he cannot be seen anymore. Probably he has run to the far side of the roof. The two rangers are close behind the elf.
* The man comes to the wall, climbs up using some of the larger bricks as handholds and drops himself over. Gorin is next, he climbs the wall with dwarven determination and perseverance. After all, he is at home in the mountains. Then he quickly lets himself drop down on the other side. Vardanil speeds up and leaps up the wall. He is easily able to grab the top of the wall with both hands and is hanging there. Gorin is standing on the other side of the wall, where he sees a vegetable garden about 20 meters square (with carrots, potatoes, pumpkins) and a 1.5m wooden fence on the other side. The man is standing at the fence.

Seeing he's gaining on the man Gorin charges forward through the garden with reckless abandon to the food he may or may not be damaging as he stomps his way through it.
"The more I have ta' run the harder I'll smack ya' when I catch ya'" he yells as he barrels towards the man.

Velethahl turns to the two rangers pointing to the rooftop. "He must have gone over to the backside of the building. You continue on here I will try to make my way around back."
Velethahl looks for the best route around the building and runs off in that direction.

"Hold right there! Stop or you will regret it!" Vardanil pulls himself to the top of the wall, and then considers the area, can he run from te wall around the rooft tops to the fence. Can he leap from the wall to the fence, or perhaps an arrow in the leg of the man is inorder. He presses forward.

Re: Book One: At the Sign of the Prancing Pony
*Velethahl talks to the rangers and then finds a very narrow way between two houses - it is only half a meter wide and he elegantly wiggles through. On the other side he comes to narrow alley, about 3 meters wide. He can just see the man jumping over the alley to a window on the other side of the alley. As the elf comes out to the street, the man misses the roof and is only barely able to hold on to a windowsill on the second floor of the building, about 4.5 meters above the street.
* The man frantically tries to jump over the fence as the angry dwarf charges him. In his panic, he does not succeed however, falling down and barely getting up before the dwarf is next to him. Vardanil quickly balances along the roof until he comes to the building nearest to the fence. He is about 10m away from the man and 4m up. He quickly notches an arrow.

Vardanil, balanced precariously, nocks an arrow, and takes aim at the man. "Surrender now, or face our wrath! Who are you, what were you doing spying on us?!" The Ranger tries to make sure he has his footing first, and is worried about his bow second.

Barely paying attention to what the ranger is doing Gorin doesn't hesitate to charge towards the man. Still at a full run from heading through the garden the dwarf lunges at the man in an attempt to tackle him.

Re: Book One: At the Sign of the Prancing Pony
Vardanil starts speaking to the man as Gorin tackles the man, slamming him into the fence. The dwarf smiles as he hears bones breaking. The man slumps to the ground, dazed and unable to react.
