Book One: At the Sign of the Prancing Pony

It is the year 3010 of the Third Age in Middle-earth. One after another, ancient horrors awake, called by their master, Sauron, the Lord of the Rings. This is a time when heroes are needed, to protect the Free People and keep the evil at bay. This is high fantasy in a setting where there is low obvious magic using the HARP system.

The younger Ranger nods to the others, knowing they must depart. "If you see Strider, the real one, or Gandalf for that matter you could tell them of the situation we have here and perhaps they might take steps to aid us." The Dunedain considers, trying to think if there is anything he could ask for from the two, but besides seeking some material posession, he can think of none. "Cuio mae, Goodbye." He then bows, and looks to lead the Elf back to Brano's once the others are gone.

Vardanil leads Velethahl to Brano's and Melina opens the back door for him.
They soon find themselves in the guestroom with the others.
