Pressman continues to provide cover for the medic. The young recruit hopes the corpsman can provide enough treatment to stop his bleeding so Goldsmith can recover back at the base. As 3J examines Goldsmith, Pressman listens to the other communication chatter of his squad members.

3J begins to examine the unconscious Goldsmith. The armor makes it hard to see exactly what is bleeding. 3J starts to put Goldsmith back together, figuring out what is needed where is the easy part...

Pressmen continues to cover 3J as the smoke pours into the kitchen.
"Status on Goldsmith" Sergeant Wilson is heard over the SCD.
Roll: 12 + 4 - 10 (complex actions) = 6
Note when LP are 0 or lower, Intensive Care is used.
First aid may be used as well, but at a penalty. Seeing
as 3J has this skill and its the same level as his first aid
were going to use this... that and I want to see how it
works out...

Open Ended (lower TN better, Higher Roll the better)
TN: 10 - 4 (skill) - 2 (pts Str) - 1 (pts Will) = TN: 3
TN: 3 + 8(damage/2 rounded up) = TN: 11
Roll = 20 NICE!
20 - 11 = 9
passing by 4 to 9; Removes d8 BC's and heals 1 LP ever 2 counts above TN.
BC's Roll: 4, 4 BC's are Removed from Goldsmith, as he only
had 2, he is now free of them.
Passed by 9, 4 LP are healed as well, which makes him awake and
alive.

How long does it take?
1 Turns action for each LP and BC that is healed and
4 LPs + 2 BCs = 6 Turns.
As you look at the wound, you can see that it was not made by the laser weapons that the previous wounds had been. This one is different, it has the burn of heat to it, but also something that would impact, causing the bleeding. You have never seen this before.
3J starts to sweat as he beings his work on the injured man. He's knows that Goldsmith doesn't have much left in him to keep him ticking and he must work fast. Bandages, Creams, and injections can be seen being applied to the now growing Goldsmith. 3J is concentration on his injured man and nothing else seems to register to him at the moment.

Everyone knows that patching up a injered man takes time, how long is not known. Well, it is, when the Medic states it is. Its easy to see that
Goldsmith is in a tight spot and if 3J was interrupted for too long, the man could die.
Roll: 16 + 4 = 20.
The smoke makes it hard to see, you think you just saw something move accross the door way of the kitchen from the East to the West.

3J wipes the sweat from his brow with the back of his forearm. Since he has now gotten another look at the injury and has begun patching it up, he begins speaking. Just a few words spoken without him removing his eyes or hands from his patient.

"Whatever caused this isn't something we've seen yet."

He lets those words hang in the air as he continues the task at hand. Over the SCD, he speaks quickly. "Give me a moment. Status unknown yet. New type of weapon."
Going to wait until closer to full healage to give an OK over the SCD.

Pressman speaks to 3J, "Sorry, doc. We don't have the time. Incoming. Get him out of here." The rookie then radios into to the squad, "Possible tango in kitchen. Confirm." The sniper waits to see if anyone in the squad radios in as being in the kitchen, otherwise, he considers the target a hostile.

3J spits out a few more words, while his hands are furiously working.

"Make the time, or we lose him."

The squad responds and so does the sergeant Wilson after everyone else calls in. Tango is considered hostile, shot to kill.

Curris responds on the SCD as well, "still covering west door in living room, no movement yet." If anyone were to take a look, Curris was now laying prone on the carpet spread across the floor while covering the door.

Pressman takes a position hoping to spot the figure as soon as the remaining smoke clears. His pistol in hand, the sniper scans the room for any movement.

the moments grow tense for both the medic and the solders watching over him. 3J finds and clams a major artery that was severed by the wound.

Pressmen waits and watches as the smoke stops pouring into the kitchen. No movement is seen yet, but the tense moment for waiting makes the young sniper edgy. His training comes back into his mind and he realizes that he is doing the right thing. Wait for the enemy to revile themselves. If you picked a good spot, then the enemy wont stand a chance.
Normally it would need to be declared, but no one knows what there skills are - so I'm going to do it for you. As Pressmen is a sniper, he would have learned to get the advantage on any battle fields. His camouflage skill would come into play at this.. He also has a hide skill, but the camouflage skill gives better bonus when your able to use it. Hide allows you to move around unseen. Camouflage allows you to hide and lay a trap for targets.

Camouflage Skill, Open Ended Roll:
Roll: 14 + 4 (skill) = 18.
Inorder for someone to notice Pressmen, they will need to roll a 18 or higher. Good roll.
Its seems impossible, but pressmen seems to disapeir and blend in with his surroundings, covered mostly by the corner of the rooms door. He looks almost as if he was a piece of finely sculpted art and Almost as if he placed in the house as decoration. Except for the gun in his hands trained on the kitchen door way.
A total of 3 rounds have passed sence 3J has started his work. Goldsmith is doing better, but hes still not in the most amazing shape.

3J actually smiles as he closes up the leaking artery. While his hands rarely ever leave the wound, he actually glances up at Pressman, not seeing him immediately.

Instead, he speaks into the SCD. "Just about stabalized. Buy me a few more seconds and Goldsmith'll be up and walking again."

Pressman remains quiet and hidden. The rookie hopes that the alien doesn't make a presence, but if it does, then he will be ready. He waits for the medic to finish patching up Goldsmith and knows how valuable the medic's skills are for special operations such as this, so he doesn't hurry the medic or point out how little time they actually have before the enemy will begin to push forward.
