"Let's do it then," Cedric says ready to get the show on the road.

"I agree. And he has to understand that this is just procedural. We can tell him we went alphabetically if we like." He raises an eyebrow. "In fact, that wouldn't have been a bad way to go about this. No one could get offended."

"Agreed, once we call on them, lets make it known that everyone, including us, has given or is giving statements." The Cyran then goes about getting Grael Silkwood and getting him into the 'introgation hot seat' so the group can continue on with this before they reach the station."
Go get Grael unless someone stops me, use the train staff and such like before to make it look offical.

Sudo heads off alongside Denamere to fetch the ambassador. The young man doesn't want any of the investigators talking or working along with any of the suspects, just in case someone might accidentally or purposely messes with the investigation.

The Testimony of Grael Silkwood

Post by Bitom » Thu Aug 13, 2009 8:19 pm

Denemare and Sudo head off to fetch the Ambassador. Fortunatly, one of the porters goes with them to lend them an air of authority, and the important man allows himself to be brought to the dining car to be questioned.

He enters, carrying a glass of wine and seats himself carefully, dabbing at his mouth with a silk hankerchief.

"How can Karrnath assist you?"

"Thank you for coming, ambassador," Kaine says with a bow. "We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The rail warden has asks us to look into the murder and we were hoping that you might have seen or heard anything that could be of help to us in finding the murderer."

"Can you tell us," he goes on, "what you heard and saw that evening? Any detail, however minor, might turn out to be useful."

Denamere is sure to be very polite and accomodating when he fetchs the man. Bringing him to the table he stands behind Kaine with a smile, his cane resting on the floor. He does his best to hide his dislike of the Karrnathi (any Karrnathi) behind a smile and faulse pleasantries. "Yes, we must collect statements from everyone to present later on, so please ambassador anything you or your entourage might have seen or know could be of help for the law."

Sudo takes a seat at the table and listens to the questions already proposed to the ambassador. The young man doesn't seem to care much about politics, but his real interest lies in finding out the real murderer before they arrive at the station.
