Ok the first fully completed character sheet is done (Hayabusa).

I also have two first drafts that require either a little tweaking, or equipment lists completing.

I'm away this weekend so dont worry about getting drafts to me by Friday. But if people can manage to get something done over the weekend I'll pick them up Monday.

Got the core concept of the first campaign sorted, and the first adventure planned out. Looking forward to getting started :)

Sent my most recent version. Let me know if there is anything else I need to change (particularly some equipment prices). My version of GCA is more based on 4E and so my 3E data (especially for equipment) is a bit limited.

I've got things mostly done. Still have to do equipment, though.

One thing that I have noticed with the character creation so far:

In GURPS:AoN goods are cheap, and wages are low (welcome to the era of mass production), but starting wealth is relatively high!

Eg. Average starting wealth is $750

An Average job earns in the region of $20 to $100 per month

Average (status 0) cost of living is $10 per month

A good firearm and sword will set you back less than $100.

The net result is the character submissions have lots of cash left over!

So a couple of things I might suggest:

1) Poverty type disadvantages could be a bargain way to gain points to spend on skills.

2) You could just save the cash for a rainy day, but consider banking or investing some of it in case you get mugged!

3) Or you could try and think of other imaginative ways to spend it!

I'm excited about this game.
Do you have a start date set?

Giving people a chance to finish their characters. So far we have:

2 people finished
2 people nearly finished
2 people with nothing submitted.

I'll probably start the game this weekend regardless to get things moving. Although I may have to rethink the campaign because the group balance would be different.

I've sent off my character sheet. All I need is to get my equipment done.

We went out of town for our Independence Day holiday and got back late last night. I'm only just catching up.
