"Thank the Sea!" Wavedancer says, collecting his gear. He is sure to place the nautical charts amongst his gear. They may be valuable in getting out of this place if they can actually escape the caves.
He keeps the longsword, but has no real use for it, instead restringing his bow and making sure it is ready to be fired. "With those mutated cats tied up," he says, "I can just shoot them to death." He shrugs, knowing it isn't very honorable, but, he doubts any god would fault him for his actions as the things seem corrupted and strange as the pirate that attacked them.

Re: Back to the Trophy Cave
Once properly armed and armored, the two of you begin to debate the wisdom of trying to kill the large cats at a distance. It's safer than many other options. But attacking them is sure to enrage them, which might give them the energy they need to break the chains. It's a dangerous course of action, though one of the few available to you.

Re: Back to the Trophy Cave
"Perhaps we should head back there," Wavedancer says, nodding in thanks for the healing. With a quick point of his hand, he indicates the part of the cavern with mutated men in cages. "I am not sure we looked very well, perhaps there is another exit?"

Unexpected Company
As Wavedancer points and suggests they reconsider the other way out, Fin nods and turns to face the far exit. It is at this point that the two of you see three figures. On one side of the cavern is a dwarf carrying a large axe, on the other is a sailor wielding a rapier, and in the cavern entrance is an elf wielding a curved elven blade. None are mutated, and none are recognizable to either of you as the pirates who captured you.
