This is a thread for everyone to provide a bit of information about their character. It should include a description of what they look like, their personality, and and information generally known about them. Inclusion of a picture would be ideal.

In part this is to help lurkers and future players to help keep track who's who.

Please limit this to one post per character. Edit those posts as needed when information changes.

Name: Daerith Amlyn
Race: Elf
Class: Wizard/(Fighter/Eldritch Knight)

Physical Description:
Hair: Bleached White, Eyes: Steel Blue, Height: 6'7", Weight: 145lbs, Age: 142

What everyone knows:
Daerith has been a regular fixture around the arena during the more exotic of the fights there, and even during the not so exotic fights, when he finds the time to get away from the Academy in the Noble District. This high born elf was hardly raised by his parents (having mostly been raised by the family's Unseen Servant Nanny), and only expected to go on to follow in his father's footsteps as a loremaster and wizardly sage. Like a good son he did what was expected of him through his youth and became well versed in magic at the academy; yet his heart has never really been in scholarly pursuits.

Working as a tutor through his many years in the school he's come to know many students, both noble and not so (mostly children of rich merchants) who sought his aid during their time at the college. He however is known for turning his studies toward a more martial interest and has always sought out ways to use his schooling to better himself physically, dreaming of one day winning the grand tourney in the arena and declaring himself the Arena Champion. He's known as a bit of a hot head, and dave devil always trying to push himself, and the boundries of the limits his teachers and parents set on him. His growning independance and free thinking mind (ironicly given to him through his education) has him planning to not follow in his father's footsteps, but to join the first ship sailing for true adventure out of Sasserine. His father caught wind of such thoughts and promtply cut off Daerith's allowance, effectively bankrupting the young elf weeks before graduation. So for now he lingers around the arena watching matches and hoping to make some money placing minor bets on the games, selling his skills as a wizard, or he can be found tutoring students once again at the academy even though he graduated three months ago (the same time his father cut off his gold supply).

With his own gold running low, and the landlord at "The Pearl and the Parrot" eyeing him warrily as rent is due soon, he's eager to take any job that might lead to heroic deeds and adventure (and some coin!).

Daerith knows of John "Lucky John" Foxcombe from several music and fun filled nights just before graduation, and more recently after the young bard's escapades invloved a young noble woman whom Daerith was tutoring. He's also seen the stout dwarven face of a the cleric storyteller on occation there as well.

Daerith knows Shumba from his time spent around the Arena, the Half-Orc first helped Daerith gather some more rare spell components from the nearby Amedio Jungle, but later that connection lead to Daerith getting a private tour of the animal pens of the arena from Shumba. This has led to his continuing facination with fighting and weaponskill. The idea of Shumba aranging a 'hunt' for Daerith to test his mettle on is soon to be realized if Daerith can come up with the coins the Half Orc has asked for to do it.

Name: Berek Steinhart
Race: Dwarf
Class: Rogue (favored Class Fighter)

Image

The name Berek Steinhart is well known both among the Dwarves and the more dubious elements in town. A small time raketeer and dealer of illicit goods Berek is the bastard (and youngest) son of one of Sasserines most prolific Dwarven Smiths who had passed away only recently at the venerable age of 342. While his father provided for him, he wanted the basterd nowhere near the family business which inevitably led the young Dwarf, who had little resources but a keen eye for a good barter and a strong punch for those better at bartering to engage in illicit activities and join the small Dwarven Thieves Guild of Sasserine. With the Guilds recent destruction through a gang war, Berek is now a freelancer and looking for any work that will fill his belly and provide him with beer.
Tall for a Dwarf but still smaller than most humans Berek's wiry frame while built around the wide shoulders typical of Dwarves lacks the keg shaped rump so typical of his race. His hair is a bleak black and his piercing eyes the color of a finely polished suit of mail with sprinkles of adamite. He is typically dressed in a simple garb of dark earthen or black tones made of sturdy cotton and leather. He tends to speak with a thick Dwarven accent even though, and this only few people have witnessed, he is also capable to parlay in perfect common appropriate to a noble even though his habitus would never be considerer appropriate for high society.

Name: Sindu Motest
Race: Human
Class: Monk

Raised by the Monistary, Sindu has never known anything but the Teachings of Wee Jas. Being the protector of the dead, he took up being a guardian (Caretaker) of Wee Jas' Cemetery in Sasserine, occasionally assisting the embalmers in their Anatomist endeavors as well. He has toned and trained his body for the defense of his church and the (Dead) people of the church. Undead is a mockery of the dead and is not in the lawful flow of life. He has studied these beings knowing how to strike them to end their bainfull existence as rapidly as possible. He will be of service to Wee Jas until the Great Lady of the Dead takes him as well.

A non-imposing small man, Sindu does not look much of a threat to anyone. Being very "strait laced" and neat, odd for his normal job, he often seems very stiff at times in his stance, with his feet together, knees almost locked, and arms strait at his sides. His hair is shaved with one exception of a longish braid of hair coming out of the top of his head. Sindu wears very loose fitting clothing of simple, almost peasant-like material. Although peasant looking it actually appears to be very comfortable and allowing free movement. His shoes are simple wooden slats with straps to attach them to his feet. The majority of his equipment is on roped belts. Some hanging from his waist, others slung over his shoulder and neck area.

Name: Finneas "Fin" Madarin
Race: Human
Class: Cleric
Image

Fin's parents were passengers aboard a ship bound for Sasserine, but were washed overboard and lost at sea when a terrible storm struck during the voyage. The pair were survived by a young boy; Fin. The sailors aboard the ship were convinced that these events constituted an omen from Procan and thus the boy was apprenticed to be a cleric in his service. Since then, Fin has grown into a man and served the sailing community of Sasserine as he believes Procan wills. Most recently, he has lent his services to the adventuring group known as the Sea Wyverns. This is a decision he still questions on occasion.

Fin has wavy, shoulder-length, brown hair which usually looks a little shaggy as well as a slightly bushy beard. His skin is tanned and is already showing subtle signs of weathering from spending the better part of his life at sea. Otherwise, Fin is healthy and very fit with minimal scarring. He usually wears a loosely tied chain shirt over a light leather vest with sturdy leather boots and pants. He will occasionally wear a sea-green surcoat over this while officiating as a priest, but usually goes without when he's expecting to do any real work.

Fin's life has not been easy and it shows in his personality. He has a sardonic sense of humor and a terse manner that doesn't always sit well with others. Fin serves the wild god of the Sea. He knows that life is neither fair nor forgiving, and this too often comes across to others as bitterness. He views all matters with a practicality that can seem uncaring in the wrong situation.

Name: Chanur Von'Drak
Race: Half Elf
Class : Rogue/Fighter
Image

6 feet tall and lithe, Chanur has orangish red hair and bright deep blue eyes. He appears to be handsome and well dressed, often dressing very stylishly with a large brimmed hat and a rapier on his hip.

He is slowly becoming a worshiper of Procan, partly due to growing up a sailor, but largely due to his companion Fin.

He has a love em and leave em attitude, but is more than willing to come calling again. Chanur would settle down for the right woman. He enjoys showing off for the ladies. Chanur is a good person and does not want to hurt innocent or good people, but has no problem hurting/lie/cheating people he considers themevil/bad.

He is working for Lady Vanderboren out of respect for her father and family, they gave him a job when he was a young sailor. His parents died young and he was raised in his teenage years on a ship.

Name: Grask Ollotir
Race: Half-Orc
Class: Druid

Background:
A wanderer. A protector. A prophet of nature itself. These things describe Grask, a Half-Orc who lives deep within the forests outside of Farshore. His birth origin is unknown, but it is told that another tribe use to live in these lands. A tribe that is assumed to have been lost to the powers of nature. Half-Orcs are an extreme rarity in this part of the world, leaving him to feel isolated and alone. Grask isn't alone however. Following him wherever he goes, is a Pachycephalosaurus by the name of Simira. The two have been together since they were but mere children. It is hard to say for sure what would have come of Grask had he not found both a friend and protector in Simira. The two prospered for many years alone, mostly avoiding civilization because of their warlike nature. Lately however, things have began to change on the island. First 'The Infamous Seven' T-Rex Temauhti-tecuani simply vanished, and then a group of travelers managed to stop the angry god Zotzilaha from raining fire and death down upon the seven villages. Who were these mysterious travelers? They seem to have the same affinity for good that Grask embodies. Grask, aided by Simira, is tasked with finding this group so that he may finally be with those that are just like him.

Appearance:
Even though Grask is a Half-Orc, his appearance is much closer to a full blooded Orc than his human heritage. He has long white hair that is tied into three pony tails. Two flank the sides of his face while the third flows down his back. His face is heavily scarred and large sharp teeth protrude from his mouth. His ears are long and pointy with pierced ironwood jewelry. Despite the fact that his arms closely resemble tree trunks and his twisted and viscous looking face, he couldn't be any nicer.

Simira is an adult Pachycephalosaurus with a large boulder-like head and a strong neck. Her hide is made up of mostly a brown color with a lighter brown color stretching out from her underbelly, head to tail. Simira's appearance is what one would expect when thinking about a Pachycephalosaurus.

Behavior/Personality:
Grask is a very mild mannered half-orc, which is even rarer then a half-orc in this part of the world. He enjoys time in nature but also loves to travel and see new things. He is unlikely to start a fight with anyone but isn't afraid to protect himself and those around him from enemies.

Simira is much like Grask in that she is very mild-mannered. This could be why the two hit it off as life-long friends. Simira enjoys charging things for little to no reason other than for the excitement. There have been many times when she would charge full tilt into a tree just to see if she could knock it over.
