Dreams nods and says, "I think we should be thanking you for telling us about the chamber. I'm certainly more than willing to go in and put whatever evils lurk there to rest."

She starts tying up the guard who surrendered and then the Baron, in case he comes to. She looks at Captain Blacklock, "I can't speak for the others, but I'm willing to trust you if you give your word of honor that you won't flee. Can you tell us in more detail about we might find in that chamber? The more we know, the better we can combat it."

"I will agree to help destroy the lab." Torias says. "I think we should also talk to the Baron to find out what is in there."

Blacklock looks at Dreams, "Trust goes both ways. I think I've proven mine enough, but if you require words over deeds, then yes. I won't run. Where would I run, you have the city surrounded after all."

He looks at Torias, "There is some sort of creature in there, a gift from Calabim, a Thrull Golem they call it, but even more devious is Crepitus. I don't know if that's its name, or its species. What I do know is its some sort of devilish imp, but far more dangerous than the sort you hear of in faerie tales."

Dreams says to Torias, "The Baron is unconscious now. It may be a while before he awakes. I agree that ideally we would have a chance to question him--we can see if we can wake him up--but we don't want to delay long either. We should get the Baron to the city gates as soon as possible. The agents of the Black God may get word from the guards about what happened and stir up trouble? Or the besieging army may get tired of waiting and launch an attack."

Dreams turns the information Blacklock has shared over in her head, to see if in her wide reading she had learned anything about this Crepitus.

Torias also thinks about if he has ever heard of this sort of Golem or of the creature.

"I think we should leave Suli to guard the baron." he adds.

Just before entering the lab, he will cast a spell to summon a divine ally.

"That loses us some powerful fighting prowess," Celevan replies when it's suggested that Suli be left behind to guard the baron. "But it does make a good deal of sense. He is strong enough to defend the baron and prevent his escape, and he can call for help instantly if trouble arises."

As the company speaks the Tatzlywrm vanishes, the duration on its summon finally ending.

Blacklock agrees that you should not waste any time. "If you will, I shall go and tell the other guards to stand down, and to take a count of the wounded and tend to them. Meet me back in the audience chamber. You have my word no funny business will take place." He says nothing about the Baron or what you are going to do with him or the Calabim, his worry is only for the local guards.

Dreams and Torias both are well read, and Dreams recalls a bit about the name, Torias too.
