Re: Comments, Compliments, and Complaints
Yah going Prestige Class might be better than mulit classing just because of the loss of spell progression.

Re: Comments, Compliments, and Complaints
Ok, will stick to cleric for now - do you think selective channeling is a good idea? Or should I go with more channels? Or does anyone know another good cleric feat? Create wand? More wands of CLW might be pretty nice...

Re: Comments, Compliments, and Complaints
Selective channeling is only as good as your Charisma, as a Dwarf it likely isn't too hot. Also while Channel is still really good now it's gonna start being less powerful after a few more levels so focusing on it isn't that great.
What feats you pick really depends on what your characters supposed to do. If you want to be a frontline cleric you need power attack sooner or later. If you want to be primarily a support character high charisma and selective channeling can be useful. Combat reflexes and a reach weapon can also be pretty nifty for a cleric.
Also most PrCs have some prereq feats, now would be the time to take them if you want to go that route.

Some of the better PrCs for combat Clerics include:

http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/prestig ... vindicator
Most of these would have to be reflavoured somehow though...

Torias doesn't meet the Pre-Reqs for Selective Channeling. I disagree about it loosing its power as you go up, a mass heal is always great. Unfortunately he can't single out the enemies, so it does make it harder to be effective in combat. Post combat, its great.

Re: Comments, Compliments, and Complaints
I thought dire wolves were just normal, unaligned animals under the Pathfinder rules, not evil creatures. V, are you treating them differently in this campaign?
(There is an actual extinct species known as dire wolves, which seems to be where the whole "dire" animal thing in D&D-legacy games came from. They were basically big wolves, evolved to prey on things like giant ground sloths.)

Re: Comments, Compliments, and Complaints
In this case you are talking about a half orc ranger with no time for debating people and a bias dwarf cleric....
If they are innately evil or not seems irrelevent to them.

It's a fine line with the dire wolves. They've clearly been trained (encouraged?) to be vicious, particularly where people are concerned. There's a certain 'mad dog' argument that could be made.
