So, what items does Falcon's Hollow need? It will help our cover if we actually know what we need to shop for.

Re: Chatter - Party Tactics
V, a lot of the stuff we're considering doing pushes up against the lawful end of a paladin's alignment restrictions. I assume things are looser in a state of war, but I'm not sure how much looser. I don't want to be the annoying paladin who won't let the party do anything because it's unlawful (I plan for Dreams to go along with the plans, if only because there don't seem to be many other options), but I also want to make sure I'm not going to run into some sort of trouble with my character.

Who's Law, the Evil baron or the Friendly General out front?
Killing people isn't lawful either but you've murdered plenty of people.
I wouldn't stress about it.

Okay, cool. I'll let Dreams stress, but I won't.

Re: Chatter - Party Tactics
Is there a reason no one besides me seems to like the relatively simple plan of using the alchemical fire to blow off the city's gates? Yes, there's plenty that could wrong with it, but the more elaborate the plan, the more moving parts that could go wrong--including the fact that we don't even have a clue how to pull off our current plan yet. And the clock is ticking till they send soldiers look for the alchemical fire we stole and the soldiers we imprisoned in Viaren's basement.

Re: Chatter - Party Tactics
If we blow the city gates down, then the invading army pours through the open gates. The baron's guards (and anyone else he can pull together) defends the town. Much bloodshed ensues with may people being injured or killed.
That's exactly what we were sent in here to prevent.
We want to take the town down without the army having to storm the town. We want to make the town fall bloodlessly.
That's the main reason I don't like the (admittedly simple) plan of blowing off the city gates. It will likely result in too much bloodshed.

Re: Chatter - Party Tactics
You are in a siege.... sieges take weeks and months and even years!
You are assuming that fire (its not gun powder explosive) will "Blow Off" the gates also before it can be put out, etc.
