Re: Activity
So, that leaves three of us as active players? Do you plan to try to recruit some new players?

Re: Activity
Yes I do plan on it Muskrat. Anyone know someone that might be interested?

Re: Activity
I would consider it, if you'd have me. I probably wouldn't want to do a character 'take over' however.

Re: Activity
I wouldn't want to do a character take over. Not in this case.
It wouldn't be too hard to work a new guy in, some carny who is done with the carnival now, looking to adventure. Or some random type folk some to Falcon's Hollow, etc
I know you don't like d20 much, but if you want in, I'm fine with you joining.
Have 2 characters about to leave us, Brennor/Eanwufl's Torrak - Dwrven Monk Rogue and Wayloss' Syronnas - Elven Sorcerer
The group has a Summoner (Trogdor), a Paladin (Muskrat) and a Cleric (Grimbold), they could use a Rogue/Trap guy. Even a Ranger/Rogue type or something along those lines.

Re: Activity
I don't like d20 much, correct, but I like good RP. Let me consider for a bit and do some research. A ranger might be interesting.

Re: Activity
A ranger would fit in great in the setting.
But V is right, we desperately need Trapfinding.

Re: Activity
There probably is some Ranger variation that has trapfiding for snares and things.
Yup, Trapper Arc Type
A trapper has the following class features:
Class Skills
A trapper adds Disable Device to her list of class skills in addition to the normal ranger class skills.
Trapfinding
A trapper adds 1/2 her ranger level on Perception skill checks made to locate traps and on Disable Device skill checks (minimum +1). A trapper can use Disable Device to disarm magic traps.
Plus more after that.

Re: Activity
Yeah, could just be a Trapper in the forest who's come to town for the carnival. Could actually be friends with Celevan, a perfect theme for the lumberjack town on the edge of a great forest.
