0 Level Spells

Well, Celevan doesn't have any choice in the matter. His casting is like a sorcerers. So he knows what spells he knows. As far as first level ones go, he has:

Daze
Detect Magic
Guidance
Light
Mending
Read Magic

I know that has a lot of overlap with what Torias is taking. But I'm stuck with what I have.

So Torias will take:
Guidance
Read Magic
Detect Magic
Stabilize (that might have come in handy).

I will leave the light up to you others, and as a scholar, Torias would certainly take Read and Detect Magic. Any comments?

By not taking Light daily, you still can just use the Wand of Light and all three of you can cast that. Not a powerful item I know, but it gives Torias a free slot, which helps.

Detect Magic is required for ID checks and its smart that you all have it.

These are 0th level, not too exicting but its smart you guys try and share the wealth. Syrronas could have been trying Daze during some of those rounds where he couldn't shoot, atleast giving some option for something.

The biggest limitation with Daze is that it's only against humanoids. I thought about using it on the kobold. But whacking it with a morningstar seemed more satisfying!

Humanoid! I didn't realize that.

Yea, I find out all sorts of terrible things when I read the rules. It got so that in an old Champions game I was in the players asked me to stop rereading the rules because I'd discovered too many rules we'd been misinterpreting in our favor for years.

I look up every spell either before I cast it as a player or when aplayer casts it as the DM. Just because of that stuff. But without a catalyst to make me look I often don't just read the spell decription randomly ;)

Exactly why I wasn't using Daze ;-) that and you can't keep using it...
