Re: Escape from Saren
The krogan shrugs in Kinney's direction, "A good ruse, chase the obvious threat away, show up offer help, we relax," the fist of the krogan slams into a bulkhead, "BAM! They strike." he shrugs again, "That's what I'd do."

Re: Escape from Saren
Kinney rolls her eyes. The Krogan obviously doesn't know the hero of the Systems Alliance, a legendary soldier.
"Let me assure you, krogan, that this man is not a threat. And if he is, then I'll let you use me as a shield for any incoming fire," she says, folding her rifle and snapping it back on the back of her armor.

Re: Escape from Saren
Ral is going over some of the screens, "He's right, the engines on board this ship aren't going to work. It will take a long time to get them back up and running. We are sitting space junk in this ship. If Grissom says this Anderson is a friend, that's good enough for me." Ral readies the ship to dock with the other one and grant them access. Then he heads out with Grissom.

Welcome to the Normandy
"We will begin docking procedures," the Captain says.
Over the next half hour the large cruiser flies beneath the Juggernaut and after slow going, the larger ship's hull seals with the Juggernaut's. Typical protocol would be the smaller ship maneuvering, but in this case that's impossible.
After a few moments the lock is opened on the Normandy side, and after the Juggernaut hatch is opened, standing beneath the small stair well of the Juggernaut is who Grissom and Kinney recognize from holovids as Captain Anderson.
"Welcome to the Normandy," he says. There are a couple other figures standing behind him that appear to be security personnel. They have pistols on their side, but keep them holstered.

Grissom snaps to attention and offers a salute to Captain Anderson. He states, "It's an honor to meet you sir. Request permission for the crew of the Juggernaut to come aboard."

"This ship has a crew?" The Captain does not return the salute. He's peering up and obviously looking at the various non-humans on board. Hell, it might be impossible for the Krogan to even get through the hatch.

Re: Welcome to the Normandy
Alexus Tai has been operating what communications systems he can and at least making sure than any residual systems aboard the Juggernaut don't damage the new ship. He adds, "Anderson... sounds familiar," he says to himself. It's quite possible the Turian, schooled in military history from a young age, would have heard of Anderson. It's just as likely, though, that his Turian bias would discount the human.. at least a little.
"It has a small crew," replies Tai over the communications system. "Six of us," he says. "We are grateful for your protection."

Re: Welcome to the Normandy
Ral stands at the rear of the group with the Doctor Moradin keeping a low profile. He has no idea who Anderson is. He leans over and whispers to Kinney, "Our life support systems are unstable, we should request transfer to the Normandy at once." The Quarian's voice is raspy through his biosuit's mask.

Re: Welcome to the Normandy
Grissom had forgotten to introduce himself, but first he answers the captain's question. "Yes, there are a few crew members and some under our protection. Sir, I am Lieutenant Jack Grissom, Alliance, Naval Intelligence, and I need to report back to my command regarding the status of our mission."
Looking back to the others, he mentions, "Ensign Kinney, Captain Tai, Ral, Argot, and Doctor Solus."

Re: Welcome to the Normandy
Kinney quickly salutes to the legendary human war hero, but drops it as soon as the senior officer doesn't reply the salute. She keeps the talking to Grissom and Anderson and waits until both are done. While she notices how Grissom introduces them, Kinney considers to correct the lieutenant about her rank, but settles to do it later, when they're alone so she cannot embarrass him in front of the Captain.
