Prelude: A Captain's Life

The Turian, Alexus, gets closer to the shuttle. Within a few meters, he levels his rifle at the Krogan, but, the Krogan is dead. It appears part of the shuttle has crushed the massive beast when it wrecked.

[Bo]

Tai closes on the dead Krogan and frisks him for some identification. The facts on this mission just aren't making sense. Blood Pack, Blue Eclipse.. the Batarians.. and now Saren's desertion and this downed craft. He frowns.

Things aren't looking good for the captain!

Alexus finds no specific identification. He does notice he wears Blood Pack painted armor.

Otherwise, the Krogan has an Omni-Tool and shotgun, that could be salvageable.

[Bo]

Tai grabs the Omnitool and Shotgun and then moves on to inspect the downed ship. Is this a Blood Pack vessel, too? Was it shot down, did it crash? ... are their any survivors?

[TetNak]

Alexus cannot tell if this is a Blood Pack ship, but the Krogan is definitely armored as a Blood Pack would be. He notes some damage to the underside of the hull, but its not clear what caused it. As far as survivors, there's no way for Alexus to tell.

Frowning, Alexus Tai talks to himself. "Riddles upon riddles..." he says. He spends a few quick moments looking to see if there may be any communications devices salvageable on the shuttle.

I guess mechanics or use computer quickly to see if there is maybe any way I can listen in on chatter in the area. Right now I wish I would have maybe left some of those points in mechanics

There is no way to repair the shuttle's communications systems.

Mechanics should be trained only, so you can't really use it

It appears there is only one thing left to do, go into the bunker and see what's there.

Skirting around the outside of the ship, Tai heads towards the communications bunker, trying to move quickly and keep a low profile.

The bunker has, well, a front door. The lock has recently been compromised, that's easy enough to see. Alexus can enter if he so chooses. There does not appear to be any other entrance location.

[Bo]

Alexus, hustling and perhaps a bit winded, stays low as he approaches the bunker. He posts himself outside of the door, his back to the wall, and then with a swift motion opens the door, taking a quick look inward with his gun and ready to duck back behind cover if need be.
