Prelude: A Captain's Life

Over thirty years ago humans found a cache of ancient Prothean technology on the planet Mars. Studying and adapting this technology, humankind has managed to break free of the solar system and has established numerous colonies and encountered various extraterrestrial species within the Milky Way galaxy. Utilizing alien artifacts known as Mass Relays, the various space-faring races are able to travel instantly across vast stretches of the galaxy. Within the game, humanity has formed the Human Systems Alliance, one of many independent bodies that make up the collective of "Citadel space".Run by DM Tet'Nak

Alexus tries to summon his Combat Drone, but can't concentrate enough to generate it from his omni-tool. The pain washes over him and makes him dizzy ...
Use Tech: 15 - 1 = 14, Fail!
The Krogan is all over the Turian before he has a chance to relaunch his combat drone.

The Krogan lower its shoulder and knocks Alexus onto his back, swinging its shotgun around and blasting the Turian straight into the chest. Alexus remembers gasping for breath before darkness takes him.
Attack 21, Success.
Dmg: 19 - 2 (SP) = 17.
-8 HPs. OUT
*** Sometime Later ***

Alexus' eyes open, pain just radiating from his entire body. His armor is destroyed and nothing more than rags. The shield generator has obviously be uninstalled from his armor and his weapons and omni-tool is gone. He cannot even call on his tech powers now.

The Turian vaguely hears muffled voices from somewhere close. As his eyes adjust he realizes he's in some sort of small room with heavy metal containers nearly surrounding him. There is a door in front of him with a terminal. The terminal signals the door is actually unlocked.
HPs now at 1

His head ringing, Alexus rolls over onto his side. Her rubs his eyes. A trickle of blood is coming from his mouth. "Krogans.." he says spitefully and then comes to a sitting position. Then he takes a knee, trying to listen to the voices he hears. He wants to at least get an idea of how close they are, how many, wand what direction.. actually hearing what they are saying - now that would be a boon...

The Turian eyes the door, ready to make a run for it if need be, but he needs to make sure it won't expose him.

Alexus hears mostly gibberish.

He doesn't have his omni-tool and therefore cannot translate the foreign language. However, he does catch one voice, its Saren, he's speaking Turian.

"GIBBERISH"

"He's no threat. He doesn't even know why we're here."

"GIBBERISH"

"You can keep him here. It doesn't matter. The trace leads off planet. To Omega."

"GIBBERISH"

"Don't worry, Krogan, we'll find it. My Masters must have it."

Silence.

'Masters?' Alexus thinks to himself. 'Since when did Saren follow anyone.. or anything.. besides himself? This just keeps getting more rotten all the time. He thinks for awhile.

He's badly injured and it's him against Saren and at least one other Krogan. If he was spotted, his chances are slim that he'd escape - alive or otherwise!

For now, he bides his time. It sounds like Saren is leaving soon and Tai likes his chances of outwitting a Krogan or too mor than outwitting a famous Spectre.

Alexus waits for a while, then suddenly hears a firefight outside, and then silence again.

There is no way to tell what has happened at the current time.

Finally - a break! ... maybe.

Alexus stands up, his head ringing, and slowly walks towards the door. As he does so, he keeps an eye out for anything that he may be able to use: medigel, his weapons, his omni tool.

Once nearing the door, he assesses the lock. No time like the present: if he doesn't find anything he can use, he'll need to get out of here. He'll open the door and take a quick look around the corners to see if the coast is clear.

The door doesn't open. It appears the lock has been engaged. Alexus definitely hears someone outside messing with the terminal, probably trying to open the door.

Taking a deep breath, Alexus steels himself and presses his back against the inside of the doorway. He focuses, ready to grab whoever enters the door next from behind ...

The door clicks, the magnetic lock disengaging. Nothing comes in, yet.

Tai will wait for several minutes until it is clear no one is coming. If several minutes go by, he will quickly scour the rest of the room and proximal passageways for equipment.
I'm guessing I'm still at 1 HP and pretty much naked. Grasping at straws here.
